Game is incredibly buggy, unbalanced, and crashes. I tried to changed the options, but clicking Settings in the menu doesn't even do anything...
I played this w/ the intention of playing any & all pokemon clones regardless of Quality. this game is not bad as it is more of a bland & hollow experience. for example here's the good and the bad: Good: you do get objectives to rescue various moonsters from the bad guys the creature designs look nice as well as the sprite work for the overworld and teh music is decent bad: -theres a distinct lack of story, like there are signs to read. but I also see books on the ground & shelves hoping for lore or some sort of background but sadly nothing which is a shame cause they could've tried to make some silly plot for this but its very bare bones. -the combat is a bit dodgy, as in I have no way of knowing what attacks do what & half the time for whatever reason it changes the attacks your moonster fights w/ at random, not like oh they picked new moves after you lvl up, but more like you could have these first 4 moves this battle then another 4 next battle then back to the 1st 4 & so on -finally while I do like the music it cuts out randomly leaving dead silence in it wake & upon visiting the 2nd town one house just spawns me in the middle of the ocean, which is no biggie the game auto saves and you can save manually before you enter but its just weird cause it feels like there should be a puzzle to that but I simply dont know what overall a meh creature collector game. dont hate it but also wont be playing this too often
The Game Design and UI of this game is great with basic controls. It's good for beginners who wants to play role-playing games. Recommended!
The game has a charm about it. The type of charm that doesn't give you move descriptions, mon stats, or any real information. The dex is really small and I caught 6 mons in the first bush. There may be more but the game crashed while seeing how many unique monsters I can get. Also the moves randomly change without explanation. Hopefully the dev actually improves the game to a usable state. I can see it being fun if he adds basic QOL features you get in every mon catching game.
Very fun little retro-modern mashup game
Pretty nice game with the feel of my favorite Pokemon game but with an updated and modernized look! The monsters are all unique and quirky in their own ways and so are their movesets. The Moondex is unlocked from the start of the game so you can see all the monster designs and they remind me of some of my favorite characters that I used to watch growing up! If you liked the original Pokemon games growing up, you should definitely try this game. Game has a good amount of content that's a mix between Moonster battles, taming and puzzle solving quests. Quests can be quite difficult but are fun. It took way longer than I will admit to solve the teleport puzzle 😋 Graphics are really very nice and modern looking Looking forward to more content in this game from Team Pokenomy, maybe some more quests, online battles or trading? Also would love to see support for a Mac or Handheld version at some point 👍
The game is good. i like the art style similar to pokemon but the game need a bit improvement.
+ Love the creatures + Quests can be tracked with smartphone + Retro pokemon feels - odd glitches/ bugs (as few examples in starter town you can visit multiple houses simply by exiting and re-entering the house in south east, music cuts off after a while and choosing "settings"-option puts the cursor back on the top of the menu) - creatures seem to share movesets, which also tend to slightly change occasionally - there's no lore to go with (sure, there's some signs, but you can't interract with books/ bookshelves or TV - if you lose a fight, game "ragequits" for you and you'll have to either start over or from where you last saved To devs of this game: I can see the potential in this game, but to get the potential out, you really have to work for it. You have the basic idea and look for the game covered, now to dig deeper than the surface (actually, since it's been 3 or so years, perhaps you should plan for a major update?) Final judgment: As the game is now, I wouldn't recommend it - unless you'd get it for like 0,50 - 1,00 €.
Very nice title! Reminds me a lot of pokemon games!! I love the art and aesthethics of the game! Gameplay is just perfect! 11/10!
