Received this game as a gift and have enjoyed it a lot! It has good humor and I’m very invested in the story! (And of course the spicy scenes 😮💨) The game reminds me a bit of interspecies reviewers a bit XD lots of sexing (not a bad thing) I can’t wait to see what comes in with the new updates! Highly recommend!
Genuinely a pretty enjoyable time. Sasha is a fun character who knows exactly what she's getting into and loves it, so inhabiting her POV is a blast. The highest praise I can give a piece of erotic fiction is that it makes you understand why somebody would be into this sexual escapade that they're getting involved in even if you yourself don't share a personal attraction to the same things, and Monstrous Liberation does exactly that with how it writes Sasha's thoughts and voice. Genuinely excellent, and I'm greatly looking forward to when they release the next content.
As of writing this only two districts are available for exploration. I haven't played a lot of VNs before but I might start playing more after this. The writing is excellent and the characters are all very fun. The way many of the monsters myths are woven into the story, like minotaurs being able to summon a labyrinth, is fantastic. I love the main character's attitude and way she interacts with the fantasy world she's found herself in. The artwork is very good, each scene is well crafted and the artists created some incredibly expressive work, especially Drizzle who's artwork after freeing it makes that one appear so vibrant and bubbly! And the sex is great.
For "Now", this isn't a Game. Its more like a virtual novel, with ONLY 1 PATH. They have about seven play areas listed. You can do 2 (for now). No idea why they released it in this state, as TinyHAT usually is a good quality. Skip until it get more content and some alternate plottage.
Monstrous Liberation takes an unconventional approach to the fantasy visual novel genre by blending comedy, adventure, and mature themes into a story that is surprisingly rich in personality. The game follows Sasha, a lively online streamer who suddenly finds herself transported into a magical kingdom where affection, intimacy, and personal freedom have been outlawed by a tyrannical force. Equipped with a magical pair of scissors that can remove powerful curses, she becomes an unlikely heroine determined to restore hope and individuality to a society that has been stripped of both. While the premise is undeniably aimed at an adult audience, it also provides the foundation for an engaging narrative centered on liberation, courage, and challenging oppressive authority. The game's greatest strength lies in its storytelling and character-driven progression. Rather than rushing players from one scene to another, Monstrous Liberation encourages exploration throughout its fantasy world, allowing Sasha to meet a wide variety of citizens whose lives have been affected by the kingdom's harsh laws. Every encounter introduces distinct personalities, humorous conversations, and personal struggles that gradually reveal the larger history of the world. As more characters are freed from magical influence, the setting itself begins to feel more vibrant, giving players a satisfying sense that their actions have meaningful consequences beyond simply unlocking the next chapter. Visually, the game delivers attractive anime-inspired artwork with expressive character designs and colorful environments that effectively capture the contrast between a once-oppressed kingdom and the optimism brought by Sasha's growing influence. Character portraits convey a wide range of emotions, making conversations feel lively and entertaining, while the fantasy locations offer enough variety to keep exploration visually interesting. The dialogue frequently mixes lighthearted humor with emotional moments, and Sasha's modern personality creates entertaining interactions as she adapts to a completely unfamiliar world. The writing rarely takes itself too seriously, yet it still succeeds in building relationships that make players care about the people they encounter throughout their journey. Gameplay is built primarily around exploration, conversations, story progression, and discovering new locations as additional areas become available. The enchanted scissors serve as both a narrative symbol and a gameplay mechanic, allowing Sasha to remove curses that block progress and help those trapped under magical control. Instead of emphasizing difficult mechanics or complex puzzles, the experience focuses on uncovering new events, expanding the story, and rewarding curiosity. This relaxed structure complements the visual novel format well, allowing players to immerse themselves in the world and its cast without unnecessary interruptions. Since the game remains in Early Access, the developers continue expanding the adventure with additional districts, characters, scenes, music, and story content, suggesting that the overall scope is still growing. The unfinished nature of the project naturally means some limitations remain. Certain storylines end abruptly while waiting for future updates, and players seeking a fully completed narrative may prefer to wait until development is finished. As with many Early Access releases, occasional balancing issues or technical imperfections may also appear as new content is introduced. Furthermore, the mature content is an integral part of the game's design rather than an optional feature, making it suitable only for players who are specifically looking for an adult-oriented visual novel. Fortunately, the explicit material is supported by a surprisingly well-developed setting and a narrative that strives to provide context instead of relying solely on shock value. Monstrous Liberation ultimately offers far more than its premise initially suggests. Beneath its adult themes lies a fantasy adventure filled with memorable characters, enjoyable humor, imaginative world-building, and a story about reclaiming freedom from an oppressive regime. The combination of exploration, engaging dialogue, appealing artwork, and ongoing content updates gives the game a solid foundation that continues to improve as development progresses. While its Early Access status means the adventure is not yet complete, there is already enough substance to recommend it to fans of mature visual novels who appreciate strong storytelling alongside their fantasy settings. Rating: 7/10
有点意思,就是字太多了又没中文看得好累。女角色我都挺喜欢。
Too much text, not enough scenes.
The game's been fun so far! I've only experienced some minor issues with performance which didn't affect my experience much. The art is fantastic, the original setpieces look good as well. Character writing is alright, though a bit flat at the moment. Which can always be fixed in future updates! Overall the game looks to be quite promising, I'm eager to see what comes next in the future. The menus can be clunky at times, however. That is one of my only real cons to mention, but you won't be interacting with the menus all too much so it's altogether inoffensive.
Hell yeah lesbiean witches owo
I liked this one a lot! It's by the same team as Opporunity: A Sugar Baby Story, and you can feel the same creative DNA in both projects. The characters are well-written and fun, the actual prose is fun and witty in a Pratchett-esque kind of way, and the art is very good! It's also quite creative with how our main heroine interacts with (ie, bangs) the monster cast. I'm also pretty excited to see where the actual main story ends up going! Honestly the only real downside is that since the game isn't finished, I cannot binge through to see how it ends. I'll be keeping a close eye on updates, though!
