About
You have a pit. You have monsters. You put the monsters in the pit. They merge. You get dopamine. You do it again. This is your life now.
Monster Masher is a drop-and-merge puzzle game with pixel-art monsters, dungeon vibes, and enough Gen Z energy to make your therapist concerned.
THE GAMEPLAY LOOP (it's giving obsession)
Drop monsters into a pit. When two of the same kind touch, they merge into something bigger and rarer. Ants become bees. Bees become slimes. Slimes become... look, it escalates. Chain merges together for combo multipliers that hit different. But if the pit overflows? It's giving game over. No cap.
BOSS FIGHTS (they ate and left no crumbs)
Every few merges, a boss pulls up uninvited. You get a random weapon — could be a fire cannon, could be an acid sprayer, could be a literal doom launcher. You have 12 seconds to delete them. If you don't? They SLAM into your pit and ruin everything you built. Slay or get slayed, bestie.
DAILY PUZZLES (main character energy)
Same puzzle. Same monsters. One attempt. The whole world gets the same seed. Either you cooked or you didn't. Check the leaderboard and find out if you're him or if you're NPC.

Idle & Incremental Lovers warmly recommends Monster Masher : Fun "merge the bubbles" game with meta-progression. Most hilarious codex (monsters, bosses and cheevos) ever seen in a game, awesome humor. Would benefit from a real goal besides score attack. + I like that you merge creatures and discover the most menacing ones as you progress. + Wanna see what the humour looks like? Here's the description for Goopy, the slime-looking creature: "I'm literally just vibes in physical form. Squishy, bouncy, and living my best life. Haters will say I'm basic but I'm iconic." XD + Humor everywhere, not only in the codex, often mocking the player :) + Daily, monthly and all-time leaderboards. + A slot machine mechanic! Everyone likes to gamble, right? - Meta progression, coupled with the score attack main goal, leads to a "rush by clicking like a maniac" approach in order to get enough money to max everything (spamming click is by far the fastest way to earn money). This feels a little dumb (but fun in short sessions, and thankfully not too long before maxing everything). - There are bosses but the mechanic is just not fun. They all feel the same and leave unmergeable bubbles, which lead you to unavoidable death as it's impossible to kill the bosses quick enough to prevent them from attacking. I wish there was a way to get rid of those bubbles (with big combos?). - With the meta-progression and bosses, I feel like a real "ending" to the game is missing and would be a great addition! ***** Bragging time: guess who's currently number 1 on the leaderboard? Catch me... if you can! *What do you call monster made out of blood? A hemogoblin!* Found this review helpful?
