Monster City: A Monster College Story

The game has so much potential, however the writers have drifted from the lore of the previous game in an attempt to be PC. For example, the previous lore stated that species can't produce monster hybrids except with humans. Therfore, there was no need for contraceptives. So why then in this iteration of the game are they using them?!! It takes away from the scenes IMO. Also, there were in game choices where you could choose in the previous game. This is what made it so hot, so why drift from a working formula?

I prefer Monster College. This one sucks. They did work on the artistry/graphics a bit, and now it gets claymation CGI ugly in only a couple places. The storyline was re-edited and it looks like they got rid of most of the spelling and grammar mistakes. But after spending hours on hours in sandbox mode, I realized I was actually out of content to go further in the game. After I went back and tried VN mode to see if maybe sandbox was stuck. NO! Just end of content! I'm WTF?! That's it? Seriously? It stops and there's nothing saying "This is the end of content"? WTF?! I had figured that they had made progress over this past year, and maybe got further into the story. Nope, almost a complete year since release and there's nothing! Stupid asz lazy Devs!!! Here I was saying these guys were listening and taking care of problems. Nope. Not at all. Still issues in the software with the bikini competition between Bea and the Demoness too. So F'n mad at the Dev right now! So yeah, seeing how I'm so mad, I'm deleting this game completely, and asking Steam to take it out of my library, and then Ignoring it so I don't have to see it ever again. And I'm Ignoring anything this Dev ever releases in the future. I'm not contributing money to someone that can't even find the time to complete a damned game.

Review with pros and cons, overall rating at this time 4.4 out of 10. I willl update this if it changes, but currentlly I would only recommend buying it when it is on sale. Pros: 1. Lyra & Maya my favourite ladies in this AVN. 2. The graphics are descent 3. The grammar is good. Cons: 1. I know the developer can do better than this! Monster College (prequel) to this story is one of my top 10 AVNs. 2. The sandbox approach makes the AVN story seem more disjointed with just more clicking involved. 3. Lyra & Maya are the only interesting females to me. I rest I find with unpleasant persnalities, ugly, or they smoke and smoking is a huge turn off for me. If you are looking for other good AVNs on Steam, I recomend: Acting Lessons, City of Broken Dreamers, Depraved Awakenings, Desert Stalker, Leap of Faith, Monster College, & Sisterly Lust.

I'd recommend this game if not for a few issues... Let me explain. So the game is really good, the sex scenes are great, the story (so far) is good, but no matter how much you get done, there's still something that is locked by unknown barriers in sandbox mode. 1. There's no guides on what to do, so you basically have to figure it out on your own. 2. The MP is annoying because you only get 10 total 2 per day. You need those to upgrade your abilities, and enchant cards, which is also really annoying because you can't get all of the cards to start with... 3. The other thing that irks me is they say in the settings that if you have any translation issues to use the button to report it. WHERE IS THAT BUTTON?! I play all of my games in English, so why the F am i getting new translations in another language? I played through the story (as much as I could with how limited it was) and in the parts where a few updates ago there was no translation bugs, now there's a translation to Spanish or Italian or something. 4. You can't even change the text to English. Yes you read that correctly. If by some miracle Monster Eye Games releases an in depth walkthrough or they fix the game, I will reevaluate my previous statements, but as for now, you can play story mode without any issues.

While it is early access I still enjoyed it. I recommend storymode first as you get a better handle on the order of events that need to happen. Looking forward to the what Maya does at the party.

I love the detail of adding pubic hair to Felia, I think it would be nice if each girl had a different shaving style, that would give them more personality. Good game monster eye games...

Great story line and comedy.

has a lot of potential, nut much done in the game though. im sure it will be great when its done.
