The Game:
Are you ready to dive into a sexy, mysterious, and laughter-filled adventure?
Monster City: A Monster College Story is an adult visual novel that blends humor, the supernatural, and a touch of mischief.
Set in the same universe as Monster College, this spin-off puts you in the shoes of Adam Thorne, a young vampire… just a little different from the rest.
Growing up with countless struggles due to his defective powers (and a complicated family), Adam is determined to carve out his own path in life. Between Alchemy lessons and Vampirology classes, he’ll find himself entangled in a world of mysteries, dangers, and irresistible girls.
Unlike Monster College, this time you won’t be confined to Silverleaf University—the world expands to the nearby town of Silverwood, a seemingly ordinary place… but full of secrets and hidden monsters living among humans.
Meet the girls of Monster City!

🖤 Kassidy – Your alluring (and overwhelming) landlady. She’ll quickly realize there’s something unusual about you… but will you keep her at a distance or weave her into your web?
💪 Noksan – A strong, imposing orc with a tender heart and a sensitive soul. An outsider among her kind, and a surprise for you. Will you fall for her sweetness or her statuesque body?
❄️ Fuyu – A lively and energetic yuki-onna, in Silverleaf as part of a Japanese exchange program. The language barrier might be a challenge… but with the right approach, you’ll get through to her!
👁️ Lyra – An invisible girl who feels more like a shadow than a person. She avoids the world… but maybe you’re the one who can truly ‘see’ her.

🩸 Beatrix – A sassy ghoul with a weakness for bad habits. Behind her cocky smile, there’s more than meets the eye.
🔥 Elissa – A stunning dragoness, arrogant and self-assured, ruling over Silverleaf like a true queen bee. But behind her proud demeanor and massive ego lies a scandalous secret.
🛠️ Valeria – A nerd with an undying passion for movies, books, and video games. This dullahan always has a wild project in mind and needs someone to lend a hand… with the right reward, of course.
🌙 Maya – A mysterious figure who bursts into your life without warning. Fate has tied her to you… but whether that’s a blessing or a curse is up to you to decide.

And these are just some of the faces you’ll meet! Old friends (and rivals) from Monster College will return, including the cheeky mummy Oliver and the captivating vampire Dragomira.

This game is nowhere near as good as the first one... The developer is for some weird reason deciding to do a sandbox version AND a VN version... This has now caused updates to only be released every 3-6 months for 1 of these versions... WHY???? The sandbox version is honestly terrible, it's all over the place, 0 immersion, 0 objectives, collecting random cards by doing a repetitive job, never know where to go, have no idea what the story is about because all the interactions are at such random times... It's a shame really, I loved the first Monster College VN, such good potential with all the amazing characters they've created, the intimate scenes in this one are terrible, nowhere near as good as the first one, over in 2 seconds, hardly any build up, feels like a completely different developer entirely. The only way this can be saved is to scrap the sandbox mode, allowing more development time into the actual story which we all loved from the first one and spend more time into the sex scenes.
I really liked the first game and second shows great promise, but its like 15% of the first one. Let it cook a bit before playing. Pros: Story and characters are good Good looking girls Cons: Not much lewd scenes, like 6 or 7 in newest version and most are boring and vanilla with no ways to change positions etc. It runs out of content on about 3-4 hours, then you just grind work, sleep, class activities hoping for smth to happen. Basically, let the guy cook for a few months and then it will be a great game.
The game is as empty as outer space. This God d4mn early access games are cancer to the adult game genre.
This game is too awkward to enjoy. You go to the monsticam to find out where to go in the story, and you end up repeating over and over again sequences before you can actually get a new scene. This was a serious let down from Monster College. I think this is actually the first time I gave up trying to go through a game and quit because of repetition. Also, sometimes when you go to the forest, it will simply kick you out of the game. The storyline itself is interesting, if, as I say, you could get the story moving consistently. I'll give an example: Very early in the game, val gets you roped into fighting an orc. After over 20 hours of playing, I can't get to the fight. I've actually maxed out my character's abilities, but still, nothing, just a constant circle of the same scenes with a tiny variation through the choice in scenes at a given location. Hopefully, since this is an ongoing work, the creator will fix the bugs. I would like to continue it, if the novel went somewhere. Also, the sex scenes are a tad boring.
could be good but its half a game and glitched in places id wait till its finished like monster college witch is a great game
I hate having to leave a review like this. Never left a negative review before. Monster College was 10/10. Great story, well designed "monsters" I played it daily, like binge watching a really good TV series. Monster City has a completely different tone to it, and it has nothing to do with the sandbox mode, it doesn't feel like it's created by the same person. Immature and unnecessary comments, including insulting players, breaking the 4th wall (which doesn't really lend itself to good storytelling). It feels like you're forced to have a brief fling with one monster, and then onto the next one, so far only I really only find the dragon princess and Japanese ice to even be attractive, but they lack depth and you're forced to move on too quickly for anything to get interesting. The devil girl would be #3 but she's put in a weird sibling-like role which isn't ideal and interactions are very linear and limited. The developer has talent, but they need to go back to the recipe that works, keep sandbox mode, sure, but don't change everything that worked the first time, that's what I came back for, personally, and I can't speak for others, I but the new approach just is worse in every way. Tell a good story, make choices matter, not just a shallow theme park. What's the point of creating something like this when you could just use websites instead, a good story is the differentiator between an engaging AVN and video hosting sites.
Deeper, darker choices, new variety of Monsters. It is a different game altogether. A different feel. All I know is that I like it. I normally don't spend much time on a game that isn't close to completion but I can get behind this one. Looking forward to continuing the story. Disclaimer: Prepare the feels!
I'm not the biggest fan of "sandbox" AVNs but I surprising quite liked this one. I found that Monster College, whilst not bad by any means, had quite a lot of grammar issues in the writing. This one seems much better written in that regard. The models (and the MC) are also pretty unique compared to a lot of other AVNs. It is Early Access but any issues I've had so far are just down to missing content. Updates aren't huge but are a more frequent than other games.
