Why does it say "message sending timed out—please try again" when I play levels 1-3?

Monmusu Girls: Autobattler is a very easy game to understand, but I found myself getting more invested in the team building than I expected. I lead a party of monster girls through a fantasy world while trying to build a strong enough team to deal with increasingly difficult encounters. The combination of auto battler mechanics and idle progression makes it a very relaxed experience, although there is still some strategy underneath the simple presentation. The biggest part of the gameplay is deciding which characters work well together. Each girl has her own skills and bonds, so I have to think about how the members of my team complement one another. I liked experimenting with different combinations because even though the battles largely play themselves, the preparation still gives me meaningful decisions to make. The roguelike elements are another nice touch. Random events and rewards can change the direction of an adventure, which keeps the progression from feeling completely fixed. I enjoyed the uncertainty because it gives me a reason to adapt rather than simply using one team arrangement forever. There is also offline progression, so the game keeps moving forward even when I am not actively playing. The fantasy presentation is colorful and heavily anime inspired. The character art is obviously a major part of the appeal, while the demon world provides the setting for the story. I found the collection aspect satisfying because getting a new character feels like expanding the number of possible team combinations rather than simply adding another entry to my roster. My biggest issue is that the auto battler format naturally limits how involved I can be during actual battles. Most of the interesting decisions happen before the fight starts, so players looking for direct combat may find the experience too passive. The progression also has the familiar feel of a free to play collection game, with purchases and chance based elements built into the overall structure. I also think the idle design makes some parts feel slower than they need to be. Waiting for stronger rewards is fine for this kind of game, but I sometimes wanted more direct interaction with the battles themselves. The story is there, but it does not have enough depth to compete with the collecting and team building systems. Overall, Monmusu Girls: Autobattler is a pleasant little strategy RPG that works best when I treat it as a relaxed collection game. I liked experimenting with team combinations, dealing with random events and gradually strengthening my characters. The passive combat and free to play structure hold it back, but there is enough variety in the character building to make the basic loop enjoyable. Rating: 7.1/10
