I should have played this game sooner, I just never felt the right mood to start this game. And honestly, I liked it. The game is widely considered one of the best cooperative games, although I am mainly a solo player, I still enjoyed the co-op mode. There are 8 characters, each offering different skills and encouraging creative planning and distinct team roles. The game has a good jaunty and piano-heavy soundtrack by Austin Wintory; it is dynamic, shifting from a subtle piano riff during stealth to a frantic instrumental swell when you are spotted. If I had to give 1 complaint about this game, it would be its top-down perspective which can sometimes make it hard to tell if you are properly hidden or standing in plain sight. In high-pressure moments or frantic multiplayer sessions, this visual style often leads to accidental alarms and a breakdown into "trial-and-error" gameplay.
