It started in your foot. Now it’s in your head. All that remains is the command: GO UP. Meet strange neighbors. Make bad trades. Every ascent teaches you what you should have done differently.

About
The only thought left is: GO UP.
The building has thirty floors. Your body has problems - hunger, thirst, exhaustion. The infection doesn’t care. It only wants altitude.
Your body is in shambles... but the foot keeps climbing.
The building is not haunted. The people in it are not monsters - and they want things. Junk. Food. Favors. Someone to do something mildly humiliating to their neighbor.
A few of them know things they shouldn't. And maybe what they know has something in common.
You're the only one collecting the pieces.
The building is the same every time you climb it. The neighbors are the same. The trades are the same. The vending machine on the ground floor has the same stock.
What changes is what you know.
Every run, you learn something. A shortcut. A better trade. An item you thought was useless until it saved your life. Slowly, the building starts to make sense.
You’ll know what to do next time.
But your foot isn’t waiting.
MOLDRISE features a full-length original soundtrack, composed by Mike Klubnika, creator of Buckshot Roulette, s.p.l.i.t., and Machine Party.
First-person survival horror. Retro aesthetics. A thirty-floor apartment building with no empty floors and no happy endings.

nice vibe, i like sludge life so this is good
Pretty meh honestly. I mean its not bad but constantly looping over and over again is tedious and kind of a let down. Yes the developers give you the option to not die like a story mode type of option. But then what's the point of the game then? Makes no sense in other words the core concept (the looping) is interesting but the execution fails to make me enjoy the game more. What I mean I guess is, I like the looping but constantly doing fetch quests like a 2006 Bethesda Game got old fast. Go find me this tv remote, Go deliver these letters, Go get me some food from the chef.....like really? So little Creativity, I Might as well go play Oblivion at least THAT game acts its age.
Knowledge-gated puzzles and death-looping combine well with the horror genre, and this game delivers on that premise. Can be completed in a single sitting (I have completed the game and earned all the achievements at the time of writing this review) but it's executed well and worth playing.
Very fun little game
Highly recommend. Short enough to finish in one sitting. Interesting world, great art direction. I played roguelike mode and finished by the 3rd run
interesting game, bought it because i wanted something like Mouthwashing, overall whilst I enjoyed it the story wasnt exactly compelling but the game mechanic was interesting for me to follow. My only complaint is I wished it was a bit longer and a bit more lucrative. All'n'all was an alright game
Short and sweet, kept me hooked the entire time
