FORGET THE KITTY, WHERE'S THAT ADORABLE LLAMA?
I have played every hidden cat game I can find. (I would love to hear your game suggestions in the comment section) Some of the games are amazing; some are just a waste of time. When I first started playing Missing Kitty, I was on the Farm's Fence, but then I found myself rushing to click the next level! I didn't realize that the game had 3 different difficulty settings until I had completed all the levels and read the Achievement that said you have to complete the game in the Hard Mode. FYI: click on the "reset" tab on any level you want to replay There are 6 Levels

The Town
The Docks
The Pond
The Beach
The Swamp
The Farm
The goal of each level is to find the Missing Kitty. Once you find the kitty, you will be given an option to move on to the next level or stay and find all of the hidden objects, that are shown as silhouettes on the left & right side of the scene. You can click on trees, bushes, weeds, houses, barns, fences, rivers, ponds, paths, rocks, docks, etc. to color them in, and often reveal an object that wasn't showing before. When you click on a hidden object, you are rewarded with a blast of colorful confetti! Missing Kitty is a simple little game that can easily be completed in less than an hour. I got the game on sale so for me, it was totally worth the price for the entertainment I received. It's as if Hidden Folks and Chicory had a short, chill baby with replay value. Excellent lo-fi background music with cute sound and visual effects when you find something. Objects get "painted" when you click on them, which can help to find a hidden object, but also allows you to color in the whole thing if you want. Cozy, cute and fun.
"Missing Kitty" is a hand-drawn hidden object game. You are trying to locate the missing cat, her toys and friends, in beautiful scenes that look like an unfolded crumpled paper. You color the world along the way, move objects, find secrets and listen to a pretty cool lo-fi soundtrack! There are three difficulties. You can reset the levels and change the location of the items. Unlock new scenes with each level beaten and play around in the interactive menu! If you are having problems locating something, you can use the hint function; you can choose which item you wish to find. It's entertaining, relaxing and exciting! Perfect for adults and kids! Due to the reset botton changing the location of the items, you can replay it as much as your heart desires! You will love it!
Purchased for my 4y/o daughter, to assist in learning the mouse movements. Generally, better than most cat search games as this is far more interactive with the ability to shake/move items to see if there is something hiding. Slowly coloring your way through the level tends to be enjoyable on it's own. The kid likes it.

This is a very cute game, from the music to the wee sound effects. It's rather short but I noticed a new level was added recently so I hope they keep coming. This would definitely entertain a rather younger crowd, but I enjoyed it's relaxing atmosphere...a nice way to unwind after a hectic day
Missing Kitty developed and published by Lo-Find Studios is a cozy, interaction-focused hidden object game that builds on a familiar formula while adding small touches of interactivity and charm. Centered on the simple goal of finding a missing cat, the game transforms that objective into a layered search experience, where players must uncover various items and clues scattered throughout detailed environments before finally revealing the elusive kitty. It’s a design that leans heavily into relaxation, offering a gentle pace and a welcoming atmosphere rather than a demanding challenge. The gameplay revolves around exploring illustrated scenes filled with hidden objects, but instead of immediately searching for the cat, players are encouraged to find related items such as toys, companions, and environmental clues. This structure creates a gradual sense of progression, where each discovery feels like a step closer to the final objective. It also helps prevent the experience from feeling too abrupt, giving players more time to engage with each environment and appreciate the details within it. A key aspect that sets the game apart is its emphasis on interaction. Many objects are not visible at first and require players to engage with the environment—opening doors, moving items, or uncovering hidden spaces—to reveal what lies beneath. This adds a subtle layer of engagement beyond simple observation, making the search feel more active and less passive. It also introduces moments of surprise, as new elements appear unexpectedly during exploration. Visually, the game adopts a hand-drawn style that gives each scene a warm and inviting feel. The environments are rich in detail without becoming overwhelming, striking a balance that encourages careful observation. Objects are often integrated naturally into the surroundings, requiring players to pay attention to shapes and patterns rather than relying on obvious contrasts. This approach keeps the gameplay engaging while maintaining the relaxed tone that defines the experience. The audio design complements the visuals with a soft, lo-fi-inspired soundtrack that reinforces the game’s calming atmosphere. The music remains unobtrusive, allowing players to focus on the search while maintaining a steady, soothing rhythm. Sound effects are used sparingly but effectively, providing feedback during interactions and adding a touch of personality to each discovery. Accessibility is another strength of the game. Players can adjust the difficulty through various options, including the availability of hints. Those looking for a more relaxed experience can rely on assistance, while others can limit these features to create a slightly more challenging search. The ability to revisit levels with rearranged item placements adds a modest degree of replayability, giving players a reason to return even after completing the main content. Despite these positive elements, the game’s simplicity does lead to some repetition. The core loop—searching for hidden items within detailed scenes—remains consistent throughout, with little variation in mechanics as the game progresses. While the environments change visually, the way players interact with them does not evolve significantly. This can make longer play sessions feel predictable, particularly for those seeking more dynamic gameplay. The lack of a deeper narrative also limits the experience. While the premise of finding a missing cat provides a clear objective, it does not develop into a more complex story. As a result, the game relies entirely on its atmosphere and gameplay loop to maintain engagement. For players who enjoy hidden object games as a form of relaxation, this is unlikely to be a drawback, but it may leave others wanting more substance. Even with these limitations, Missing Kitty succeeds in delivering a focused and enjoyable experience that stays true to its design goals. It offers a calm, visually appealing environment where players can engage in a simple yet satisfying activity. The added interactivity gives it a slight edge over more traditional hidden object games, making it feel just a bit more dynamic without sacrificing accessibility. In the end, Missing Kitty is best appreciated as a cozy, low-pressure experience that emphasizes discovery and atmosphere over complexity. It may not offer deep mechanics or long-term variety, but it provides a relaxing and charming escape that is easy to enjoy in short sessions. Rating: 7/10
Super cute, simple game. It's a good way to relax and not think about much.
