Secret Cats - Ice Cream Day

[H1]Not clever, not challenging, but fine if you’re addicted to hidden cats.[/H1] This game is exactly what it says on the tin: a quick scoop of cat-finding fun with a summery twist, best enjoyed with low expectations and maybe a frozen drink on the side. I clocked in under 5 minutes without using hints, so if you’re looking for a challenge, this won’t be it. The cats? Cute and cat-like, thankfully. The zoom and brightness tools work well, and there are three music tracks to vibe with while you scan the scene. Unlimited hints are also available if your eyes glaze over in the sunshine. But beyond that, it’s your standard hidden cat setup: basic art, decent but uninspired placements, and some slightly clunky mouse movement. Size is the main hiding trick (don’t expect clever disguises or optical illusions here). This is not a must-play, but if you’re a hidden cat completionist or an achievement hunter, it’s a fine bite-sized snack. If you’re new to the genre or expecting something fresh and frosty, skip it. Find the 100 cats at an ice cream day event. Decent. Recommend buying in the bundle.

easy meow

A zoom function would be really nice. Considering how small the cats are and how congested the picture is, it boggles my mind that there is no zoom. I had to use the hint system for almost every cat because I just couldn't see any of them in the picture. Its a strain on the eyes, and can give you a real bad headache. I would skip this title.

As with all this dev's games, they have fantastic artwork and decent difficulty, but WE NEED MORE. It's over too soon.
