Miniparty

"Miniparty" is a collection of very poorly made mini-games, party games basically that nobody would want to play. Of the minigames here nobody wants, you can avoid playing football, a car race, tennis, a sprint, parkour, a collect-it challenge, and tower defense, all because they're awful. This is a multiplayer game that lacks any actual online play because the developer didn't include netcode or matchmaking. Steam has "Remote Play Together," but that isn't a real fix for the fact that PC gamers aren't sitting around a desk together to play games on one monitor. Whether the developer was too lazy or just lacked the skill to add online features, a multiplayer game without online support is a failure. The graphics here are particularly awful, laughably low quality, amateurish low poly boxes, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. Next is pricing and what value this has for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at [b]only 9 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. This "free" game won't count toward your game collection count on your profile. With that in mind, is it something you should still download? This is a hard pass. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.

Несмотря на кажущуюся легкость, некоторые игры требуют внимательности и быстрой реакции, что не дает заскучать. Из минусов можно отметить, пожалуй, не самый оригинальный концепт, ведь подобных сборников мини-игр на рынке немало. Однако, "Miniparty" выигрывает за счет своей отточенности и добротного исполнения. Все работает плавно, без багов. В целом, это добротный представитель своего жанра, который отлично подойдет для вечеринок, семейных посиделок или просто для того, чтобы скоротать время в одиночку.
