Yet another linux-compatible game without any menu option to play in windowed mode. Part of being a good programmer is remembering that i) standards are adopted for reasons ii) not everyone has the same PC as you. Steam either needs to ban this malarky, or be smart and take control over what display a game is launched on. HDMI cables can be 15 metres long, so there is no reason to think DIsplay 1 is in the same building as the sofa the player is sitting in. As to the game, it suffers the problem of 99% of racing games that its track design seemed to the designers like it would be intuitive. The age group who is going to want to play a game where you race cartoon turtles and dolphins is going to struggle with 3d tracks you can fall out of. I would downvote this, but it's free to play and they may have a good developer who fixes things. No consolation to me, as I won't be back there are 1000 other games to check out, but it would be bad to downvote.

Date:Jan. 16, 2021 Review of Mini Slide: I played one race. I like the characters, they are cute. It has potential I am sure the final game will be better for response with the controllers. One problem I found was I cannot 'feel' the track when my character is on it. It just feels like my character is floating on top of the track. This doesn't change when I fall off the track. Maybe add drag to mimic friction? Might have to do with the response time to when I press a button to the response of my character. Didn't realize I had to hold down the green A button for a few seconds before seeing a increase in my speed. Should the reaction time respond sooner? Overall I did enjoy it. I was the turtle. No fault of the turtle but I got 8th place. :) One concern I have: False positive or real threat? After turning off the game, my Avast Premium Security warned me of a threat and isolated this file into the virus chest. IDP.Generic (Threat name) Slide.exe (Infected file.) I uninstalled and deleted the file which of course took the game with it. This is the mini slid game that you can play for free and not the full game that is yet to be finished and come out. If this is a false threat then the developer will need to fix this. Did anyone else get this warning? Until this is resolved I cannot recommend this game. Update: March 21 2021 I played this two more times just to see if the IDP. Generic infected files showed up again. Got 8th place again and on the third time 5th place. The game failed to play until the game was updated. I also updated my anti virus program and the files were still infected IDP.Generic. To be on the safe side I uninstalled the game. This is the demo. I do not know if the full game has the same problem.

Its fun but how to unlock all the characters and other maps? Do we have to buy it or can we unlock it by playing it.
