About
Miniature Mayhem: Flood Fighters is a local multiplayer 3D brawler developed by Mad Makers Games. Its a player-versus-player game for up to 4 players, Weaponless players spawn in the game's map, and then scavenge for weapons, items, and resources while trying to stay alive and to attack and eliminate other players.

Over the course of a round, the safe area of the map shrinks in size due to an constantly flooding room; players that fall in the water loose lives and can be eliminated if they fail to find new charges evacuate. This forces remaining players into tighter spaces and encourages player encounters until the last player alive.

GOTY fr fr!!!
i came across this game one night, and me and the boys thought we might give it a go. we enjoyed being able to dress up in a couple different outfits, the assets were few in number but large with character. we did NOT like when the water rose in the game after like 15 seconds of the game starting. my guy died a few times before i figured out wtf was going on. the split screen was kinda unnecessary since the map was really small after the water rises almost immediately so we were all fighting on the same tiny little platform. splitscreen where we cant see ♥♥♥♥ unless we are 7 inches from the screen. the game looked really good on the initial round begin animation when it was all on the one screen (before it goes to splitscreen). maybe shifting to shared screen that zooms in and out as players move around is the better option. would be kinda cool to play as my chosen ethicity, being only able to play as a yellow fellow was ok but it would have been nice to see some diversity. i would love to play as a blue, green, hell even playing as a brown guy would be awesome. we figured out a few of the gameplay mechanics (after SEVERAL games) but are still finding ourselves confused as to what our water meter on our HUDs meant. a friend who was cooking a meal in a room nearby made a GREAT observation when he asked if we were playing the game yet because the menu music is the same as gameplay music. we were in a game and he had thought that we were still navigating the menu. when i lost all my lives i was disapointed but when i saw it say "YOU HAVE BEEN DESTROYED" (off centred slightly btw) i was no longer disapointed but rather another emotion i found hard to quantify. the other player drew out the game so i had to look at those words on my part of the screen for a while so I really noticed how off centred it was, and the font was a ...unique? choice. couldnt help but notice a lack of easter eggs also :( Overall for a free game, this has a lot of potential and it would be awesome to see a liiiiiiitle bit more polishing as this could definitely be a great party game to chuck on and have a few laffs w/ the fellas on boys night. maybe that other reviewer is from a future when this game goes on to become "GOTY fr fr". hoping this review finds you well and you take this feedback on board :) 4/10 too much water
