Mini Matches

It is a bit crude at the moment. - Could use some commentator / announcer for the level and mode switches - Needs some music - Some minor improvements to movment and collitions would also hep - ofc some minor bugs could be swatted - menu and UI seem a bit confusing - controller key mapping is not what i would want it to be - either needs a change or a chance to remap (it is confusing at times) To Play the MP you need to set up a specific launch option for teh time (alpha? beta-ish?) beeing and ofc there will be a tin of changes anyway in this early stage. Still this is playable and fun as it is. Has a lot of game modes that show off the potetial the game still has. Cool ideas for (couch)PvP games.

**DISCLAIMER** I got contacted by the dev to test the game, I received it for free, without the promise for a positive review or even screen-time on stream or anything. I do this because this game deserves all the attention it can get. This game, how to say it in a few words, just simply amazing. It has a big upgrade tree to let you unlock more characters, enhance abilities and gain new cosmetics. There is here and there a bit of missing polish, but the dev is really open to listen to feedback and enhance the game. How you can have this much fun with simple graphics, gameplay and a few friends. It is a good ol' time. Got no friends? Do not be sad, the dev did think of you and there is AI available. And the best is, due to remote play together support only one friend needs the game and the rest can join in.

This game gives me joy. It has a super sleek presentation with no faults. It has so many cool and fun ideas that it keeps shooting at you. And, as if that wasn't enough : It just keeps on giving. You never know what's next. It's accessible, clean, lean. It's an ode to pure fun and to video-games of a classic era as a whole. As a developer and as a gamer, it just speaks to me tons. I'd recommend it for anyone who likes classic video-games with a refreshing twist. It's like Wario-Ware meets pac-man, bomberman, pong, asteroids, mario, snake, space invaders... and so much more. You liked playing this game's take on Asteroids? Well, there's a variant on it where YOU are the asteroid. One really cool thing about it as well is the development section, where you can vote on the next thing that gets added to the game. That's really cool and I can't wait to see where this game is taken next. + this game is being developed by one person.

Full disclosure - I know the developer in real life so this review will be biased! This game plays as well as it looks, and WOW does it look good. I love the aesthetic a lot. As for gameplay, I don't consider myself to be the most skilled gamer but I found Mini Matches easy to pick up and have a lot of fun with immediately. There's nothing worse than feeling left out of a party game because the skill ceiling is too high as a new player - I don't believe Mini Matches suffers from this problem. I'm looking forward to playing it with my friends way more and discovering the skill tree and all the different eyes you can collect in game 👀

A fantastic party game that has already become a staple with my friends.

Really fun game. Really fun idea. Unfortunately it seems to have memory leeks has the more you play the slower it gets to load. Things to consider adding : * Way to select which minigames to put in the randomizer (some minigames were having a lot of performance drop so having a way to disable them would be nice). * Have the randomizer select 10 different minigames per match. Sometimes we got 3-4 times the same minigame in the same match... * Selection of number of round per match would be nice. Also note that I experienced the game via remote play and might be a reason why the game had such poor performance. Will update the review in a couple months when I try the game again!

A nivel visual, el juego me gusta y tienes unos niveles que parecen divertidos. Como contras, le veo los controles, que me han parecido confusos y los iconos del menú que son difíciles de diferenciar del fondo de la pantalla.

I don't recommend this game. While I like the idea and cool mini-games, it feels very raw and has too many bugs.

This game is horribly buggy and if you want to unlock anything you are better off jumping off a bridge. WHY ON EARTH is unlocking characters so annoying!? I signed up for the newsletter 3 times and still have not unlocked a character! Fix your game! Also, minigolf final round random invisible wall softlocks and ruins full game, AWESOME
