Unlike many other VR early access titles, this is a full game. There are over a dozen different chanlenging levels, each with modes that change the goal. Some are quite difficult but so rewarding when completed. PS. It takes a bit longer to load than other vr I have played so give it a minute.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
You can watch my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/VQWYp-W-4JM This game is now free to play. I actually paid $3.74 USD back in the Steam Spring Sale 2018 and it originally retailed for $14.99 USD, which is difficult for me to believe because this game is not good at all. In fact, the more that I played this game, the more that I grew to dislike this game. After one hour, I don't ever want to play this game and I'm going to uninstall it. It's not the worst game. So you may want to check it out regardless if you have time to waste. However, I should warn you that this game is subpar as far as racket games in VR go. I would recommend Racket NX or Holoball over this effort, even though they are not free to play. The physics on this is just not realistic or satisfying. The rackets almost feel like they bend when you swing them to hit the ball as if they are made out of papier-mâché. It just feels clunky and weird playing this game. There are several mini-games to play, but most of them feel like exactly the same game. In any event, I didn't find any of them fun. Also, most of the action happens behind you (at least on the Oculus Rift). There is also a voiced-narrator in this game that tells what seems like a joke a minute. However, most of the jokes just fall flat. And several lines are repeated. After an hour, you'll probably want to strangle the narrator. Rate 4.5/10. On one hand, I feel sorry for the devs because they obviously made this game free to play because not many people bought it and thus didn't make enough of a return on their investment of time and labor. On the other hand, it's kind of crappy that they didn't keep their promises on updating this game.

Miney Company: A Data Racket is a free to play VR physics-based racquetball-inspired game about hacking. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has tutorial. Funny. Has 13 steam achievements. Challenging. CONS: Does Not work with Index controllers. Try this game, you might like it.
"Miney Company: A Data Racket" is a simple and pointless VR tech demo that plays a bit like Pong, only somehow worse. Wave your arms around in VR to bat balls at various enemies/blocks. There's some kind of theme around working for a data mining company... this has little if anything to do with the actual gameplay, which is just a shallow mess. Even though the game looks pretty bad (and decent visuals are a minimum requirement for any game), we can be fairly sure this is not an asset flip. This is because the game assets look so bad, no self respecting asset creator would publish them. That's a fail. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets of any level of quality usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $15 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Even as a free game, this couldn't find an audience. With a peak of only 2 players, it's clear the Steam community took one look and walked away. They literally couldn't pay people to spend time playing this. This "free" game won't count toward your game collection count on your profile. With that in mind, is it something you should still download? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
