Para um jogo curto e de graça ele é extremamente bem feito e divertido. Realmente me fez querer um jogo maior com esse tema e ideia de "mundo aberto".

Being a free game, I feel as if this was definitely worth it. The game is as long as you make it, by talking to NPCs, exploring the woods, investigating around, and even finding the secret door in the woods as hinted by the achievement. To add to that, the encounter with the mimic, was the first time in a while I felt goosebumps. The screaming of the "individual" was a perfect level of uncanny, the screaming stopping once you got near was a great touch. Overall, great little quick horror game!

For a short, free indie title, Mimic Search was surprisingly good and had me hooked from the very beginning. The story immediately grabbed my attention, and the VHS-inspired presentation fits the game perfectly. Sure, the graphics are rough around the edges, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. The low-fi aesthetic makes everything feel even more unsettling. I got scared properly at least once, and by the time the finale rolled around, I genuinely had goosebumps. For a quick 20-minute horror trip, this delivers exactly what it promises. 📼👁️😱👌!

Игра на удивление хорошая. От игры у меня было мало ожидании. Но она меня напугала, я не помню когда я так в последнее время пугался. Атмосфера у игры зачетная, я каждый раз ожидал скример при разговоре с очередным НПС, плюс на меня давили НПС, которые встречались на дороге, особенно тот, кто сказал, что он и есть Мимик. Честно я так и не рассмотрел этого Мимика. Сыграл 2 раза, и скажу что игра для первого прохождения очень хороша, особенно своей атмосферы и постоянным ожиданием чего-то плохого. Буду следить за другими проектами этого разработчика, мне лично зашло.
