If you open this game, the first thing you’ll notice is that the text descriptions for the rules and objectives are replaced with their asset names, so where the game should be explaining how to play, you’ll instead read: “text1,” “text2,” “texta1,” “texta2,” etc. It’s such a blatant flaw, and it says something about the effort put into this game that the developer either didn’t notice it, couldn’t fix it, or most likely, didn’t care. That said, when it comes down to it, Mighty Gemstones isn’t terrible. The gameplay is very easy to intuit, so the missing text wasn’t much of an issue. I had a bit of fun with the match-3 missions. There’s an escalation to the difficulty, but it comes a bit late in the base game, and your success is still fairly RNG-dependent, especially the trophy missions. I only ever used one power-up, and I probably didn’t need to for my completion of the base game. I sort of appreciate the game’s simplicity, but it mostly just frustrates me. The one game mode feels fine to play with just enough variety, but it's so apparently shallow on its own. Why couldn’t it record high scores for completing the levels? You can see score numbers for clearing gems on the non-scoring missions, but they don’t go towards anything. Instead, the game is a checklist of levels. They’re functional and feel good to play in the moment, but what are you left with when you finish them? I’ve given my approval to unambitious but fun games before, but when even a game as cheap as this feels like a shell of what it ought to be, I can’t recommend it. There are plenty of other inexpensive match-3 games in existence, so you should consider those before you snap this one up.

Das Spiel "Mighty Gemstones" ist ein Freizeitspiel wo man Edelsteine verschieben muss. Grafik und technisch veraltet. Rechtschreibfehler und die Level bieten keinen Schwierigkeitsgrad. Auch 100% der Errungenschaften ist nicht möglich wenn man kein DLC kauft. Es gibt viele kostenlose Bejeweld Klone die besser sind. Ich wüsste keinen Grund warum man Zeit und Geld in das Spiel investieren sollte wenn es genug kostenlose Alternativen gibt.

Optisch ausbaufähig, dafür mit entspannender Musik. Einfach aber gut!
