Midnight Saga: The Monster

Really, I'm neutral on this one! I've had 2 plays through and got the bad, and the good(?) ending and neither are very satisfactory, they feel rushed and contrived as if the author suddenly realised the novel was going to be too long and had to chop half of it off and then cut out explanations that might have made things better organised. Its easy enough to read, though the style and presentation is not the best, and there were no screamingly obvious mistakes in the timeline of the choices I made, but its not interesting enough to investigate the bits I missed out on. On special it will fill in a wet afternoon when there is nothing better on offer, but your mileage may be different to mine. I've given it a positive, but really this needs to be a "perhaps" because while its good in parts, its also a bit cringe-worthy in others, but not really bad enough to deserve a thumbs down.

While I love the story and concept of this game, the actual execution is somewhat lacking and doesn't live up to the standard of other games released by the developer. The writing is quite clunky and lacks subtlety and elegance, while the gameplay often feels like you're being railroaded through a set plot. Ultimately, there's a lot of potential here, but the execution is lacking and lets down the experience.

The writing is good. The characters are fantastic, and I want to spend more time with them. The story is overall very fun, I can't wait for a sequel.

[h3] 优点 [/h3] 有涩涩，集中在第七章，一周目完全错过了呃呃，场景蛮涩的，但内容也不多 那个坏RO好像还是没有那部分内容，好像没写，反正跟他的话就那样结尾了，很奇怪
