[h1]tl;dr[/h1] [h2]PROS![/h2] [list] [*]extremely easy to set up, customize, and play [*]meshes especially well with my layout design [*]not too bad of a price either [/list] [h2]cons...[/h2] [list] [*]NEW: consistently locks up my pc now during stream [*]barebones gameplay loop atm [*]only one way to play it; could benefit from more methods & modes [*]not enough engagement opportunities in the game itself [/list] [h1]the long version![/h1] [h2]6/7/2026[/h2] this game is now consistently locking up my pc during streams on windows 11. while i am sure that this might be a windows 11 thing and not solely the fault of this game, i can no longer in good faith recommend this game as this severe bug persists. [h2]original[/h2] i found this through cupohjoe's stream before it became publicly accessable and was hooked on it immediately. twitch definitely needs more games like this, not just in simplicity but in art style as well, since a lot of the ones i see are nowhere near this respectful to the medium of pixel art. adorable art, adorable characters, an overall charmer. as well, it's [b]shockingly[/b] easy to set up with your chat! a "one click and you're off" setup that actually works beats a "do this, this, this, but don't do THIS before doing THAT, then THAT goes over HERE {...}" setup. it also makes sense when it's as contained as it is, having the main thing just [i]be[/i] the rpg itself. it's lightweight on my pc as a result and takes way less maintenance to have running constantly, aside from reconnecting my twitch whenever an update fixes something with that and disconnects me because of it. however, it definitely feels...[i]barren[/i] at this point. the only ways to play are the standard !rpg way and the seasonal challenge i saw when i first got the game. it would be more engaging to have it be a channel point or bit reward, much like how lurkbait is often set up. as well, different modes would be appreciated. for example, let's say there's a story mode where there's some choices presented to the player. that way, there's more engagement from the player themself in their run, thus increasing viewer retention. more seasonal events would also probably help in that alongside different modes like endurance runs. additionally, customization is something that attaches a person to an in-game character. stream avatars does it through different avatars; lurkbait does it through streamer-facilitated fish submissions. i can very well see this having a character customization option at some point, since it would help in getting people more willing to go on runs if they had a hand in determining what their character looked like. it would also help to have options that influence the stats of the characters, thus individualizing them more and getting them more attached to the world in general. i'm probably not the first to suggest these since i can imagine a few people having frustrations over these very things. for me, it doesn't deter me from buying it considering its early access status, great price, and how much work has been put into it, despite the difficulties the developer's had to endure so far. hopefully this becomes one of the greats! for right now, it is a [h1]7/10[/h1] good, but [i]could[/i] use some improvement

My stream loves it alot. Gives them something to also do while watching.

It's a fun little time-waster for chat to enjoy while you stream whatever. It's proved popular for a while with my chat, and all I do is draw stuff. If you stream and have at least a handful of regulars who like to participate in chat, this is a good purchase for when you have some downtime or quiet moments in the stream.
