This game is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hot, but I personally hate Gavin's route for... lesbian reasons.

It's squeak. Mice Tea is a wonderfully adorable, incredibly queer and, dare I say it, pretty darn sexy visual novel. It has an incredibly fun and interesting story, a really cute cast of characters, and very fun transformation shenanigans! As a visual novel, it actually has some pretty good quality of life. There's an extensive gallery with every CG, bonus stuff like concept art, and even a full-feature pose viewer for every single present character. And even a few bonus VNs (which I believe are available to play seperately for free anyway). I personally spend a lot of time in the music while I'm working on my own artistic projects. Most importantly, though, there's a whole story chart that maps out the game's routes for you and shows you what you have or haven't done, so examining every potential outcome of your choices is pretty easy, and so is navigating through the chapters for replays. The attention to detail is also pretty amazing. Multiple tracks have variations in certain points or paths of the story that underline the characters and what is happening to them. The title screen changes with each completed route, ultimately resulting in a really adorable 100% titlescreen! Also, [spoiler]there's a transgender character whose character viewer entry permanently changes upon their realization.[/spoiler] I've never seen a game do [i]that[/i] before. Also the sex scenes are pretty nice. The art is great and the variety between artists is good. And you can disable them if that's not your thing! I wouldn't reccomend it personally - I'm biased, though - but if you really don't want them, you can easily avoid them. Not many games especially in this genre let you do that! Grab this game or atleast try the demo if you think you'd enjoy a bit of a queer, mostly-furry, and decently kinky visual novel in your life. Also, tea is awesome. My friend bought me this game half as a joke, half because they genuinely thought I would enjoy it. I asked them a bit about the game they bought for me, and they provided me with content warnings and what I could expect. I've seen visual novels before, so when I booted up the game, I thought I was just going to read a quirky storyline with multiple date options, but nothing too serious. The first two days were unsurprising for me, though it did get deeper than I initially thought. I had ended up going down Sylvia's route, by lieu of just choosing the nice or polite options. Holy ♥♥♥♥, was I wrong. Not only did the game launch me headfirst into probably the greatest story I have ever read, it had me reeling from every interaction. Everything initially presented about Sylvia got turned on its head, as I was presented with Sylvia being trans. I sit about dead center on the gender spectrum, so finding out Sylvia was a little of both smacked me in ways I had never known. Margaret being torn between two identities made me face my own duality with people, and for the first time in my life, I understood more about myself. I found myself cheering on the both of them, as they navigated this strange new relationship, while each dealing with new things to grow with. I delayed my own sleep to finish the storyline, hanging on to each interaction. And I arrived at the final scene, with Sylvia and Margaret achieving success, and I cried. For most of my life, I have believed myself incapable of growing and changing, and having a life I could be proud of. Sylvia's route changed that. I felt I had a fighting chance in this world that is often cruel and punishing. I continued to play the other story routes, enjoying Gavin and Julie's stories, but not resonating with them as much. And finally, I got to Felicia's. And once again, I felt understood. As I said before, my own identity sits dead middle, but I have often felt like i should suppress my feminine side more. Felicia's confession hit me hard, and helped me realize that I too, can present how I want to be seen. Another character bringing me to tears, as I realized I could be happy, and deserved that happiness. I will continue to replay these stories over and over, because I have found something truly special. Thank you Cinnamon Switch, for changing my life with a simple little visual novel about mice and transformative tea.

It's a very, very good game. Wonderful, even.

It is a very good game with pro trans messaging and overall is a joy to play through, amazing character writing and surprisingly fuzzy feelings throughout, also very well done kinky stuff, would recommend!
