It's cute little classic style point and click adventure game that last about 3 hours. I must state about UI first becasue it feels like this game's UI definitely aimed for mobile touch control and don't work very well with PC with mouse control as when you pick item for use you never know exact point of interaction because game don't show any indication of it. Also you only can see hotspots when your character stand near to hotspots and you can't interact with hotspot directly if there is no hotspot icon appear which give me another clue that this game is made for mobile first in mind. Also there is no option to set V-sync so there will be tearing on high-refresh rate monitors. All of this is very unusal for PC game standards and I hope dev took more care for PC side for their future release. Despite of this quirk, gameplay itself is quite good. Game consisted of 4 chapters total but last chapter is very short and feels more like epilogue which is little disappointing but still worth at this price. Puzzle's are not too hard and stay on common sense and logic which is good in my standard(especially beer puzzle). If you are tired pressing eye Icon multiple times for reveal hotspots I found you can press "S" key for shortcut instead. Story itself is not so serious but also not too light and quite heartwarming at the end. Lastly I'm glad real cats don't walk with there hind leg because bipedal cat is not as cute as normal cat. Game should contain more normal cats. Also please add steam achievement.
Miaow.Emma has a wonderful art style, great music, endearing characters, and fluid gameplay that features a slight twist on conventional mechanics. I enjoyed exploring the world of Miaow.Emma, and encountering all of its quirky characters, locations, and situations. Its scenes are logical and straightforward—there’s no ‘moon logic’ required. Puzzle design was refreshingly non-obtuse: requiring more observation of the game world and thinking, rather than random experimentation. (I appreciated the addition of a 'highlight all hotspots' button; it saved me a lot of frustration.) All in all, Miaow.Emma was a great casual experience that had a heartwarming story and was relaxing to play. It was just what I was looking for! Thanks!😸

Miaow Emma is a narrative adventure game with simple inventory puzzles. The puzzles aren't completely trivial though, and some were quite fun to figure out. The interactions work like in side-scrolling adventure games, with a hotspot indicator appearing when Emma approaches an object. However, the game is mouse controlled, and Emma doesn't move only to the left or right. The result is that finding hotspots and interacting with them can be finicky. But the game has hotspot highlighting, which helps a lot. Examining and using items has some minor issues as well because the game doesn't show the item hotspot, so it's easy to miss an object -- or even the zoom button -- when clicking on it with an inventory item. There's no voice acting. There are many translation issues. Item descriptions need some cleanup as well, as they seem unfinished. The puzzle quality and difficulty remain consistent throughout the game, but everything else is uneven. Sometimes that undermines the game's atmosphere: ME can keep things family-friendly for two and a half chapters, and then an NPC tells Emma to f*** off. But, despite those small issues, ME is a charming game. Emma's story, her comments and her interactions with other characters are interesting to follow. It's also engaging to see how things change between chapters, the story becomes more elaborate and takes unexpected turns, and slightly different kinds of puzzles are introduced.
