After spending 12 hours in the game as of writing this review, I feel I've already experienced the extent of what this game has to offer. Basic premise is that its another arena shooter, but is also a hero based game. Pros+ +Fast combat +Gunplay feels great +Character design is varied and interesting +Decent maps +Death in not frustrating, as maps are small enough to get right back into the action. +Better netcode than other multiplayer arena shooters -cough cough- Warface -cough- (cmon its netcode is trash) +Not p2w. Surprisingly the only thing you can buy with money is xp and money boosters, as well as a starting hero package. +Guns themselves are pretty well balenced as in stock weapons have just as much kill potential as a rare drop from a crate. Cons- -Imbalence. Dual SMGs are extremely weak while the big daddy classes minigun is by far the best weapon in the game, the easiest to use, and the class itself has a rediculous amount of sustain. -Poor Sound. Cmon its 2018. Give us some good sound effects and 360 spatial sound. -Lack of content, but understandable due to not so high player counts. -Lack of competitive modes/clan war modes. -Hitreg. I have video clips of me firing a pinpoint shot right at the chest on a still target and the bullet passes right through. Note that this was with a sniper, the fully auto weapons feel consistent enough. All in all my experience in game was quite pleasant. Aside from the occasional wallhacker or two. However due to the really quick time to kill in this game it was actually a do-able task to win even if the opposition had a cheater. I wish there was more in depth progression that coincides with level and character level. Wants- More skins More weapons A solid level progression system More maps AND EFFORT TO PROMOTE THIS GAME Thanks for you time!

Clearly not a finished product. -Internet connection is terrible, constant hiccups and trouble finding matches. -Weapon balance is not even close to fair. -Maps have hard to cross ledges because vaulting/jumping is terrible. -Game lacks originality, feels just like another copy paste free to play fps. -Terrible textures in the menu and loading screen. -Limited video options -character controls such as "scope in" and run are "perks" Conclusion: Just stick with the better free to play fps games like Dirty Bomb and Black Squad.
- No Pay to Win: The game will strictly be based on individual skill, team work, and strategy. We will not be offering cash items which may impact the gameplay directly. Saw this and thought to myself, "bout time!" so i downloaded it... boy was i wrong. Though there is no "pay to win" per'se, there is something really wrong with the gun balance. despite my low hours, im already fed up with the playerbase who only use miniguns and gernade launchers. 6v6 my ass, when 2 use miniguns, 2 use gernade luanchers, 1 who uses the pinpoin accuracy AK or M4 with 0 bullet spread that kills in 3-4 shots, and the last is a newbie who acts as bait. Weapon switching in combat will you get you killed 100% of the time, cause everytime you draw your weapon it has to do some sort of animation before you can fire it. The movement is a bit broken as well, not sure if its just me or anyone else, but when pressing W to move forward, the bastard will shift the left at random times throwing everything off. Be prepared for a lot of minigun corner camping, cause thats a thing as well. Teamwork.. well, there is non, everyone just treats the Extreme Domination like a TDM match. Stratagy is the same for every map, find a corner and camp it like it owes you money.
I do pretty well in the game yet the Cheaters in the game is my main reason for not liking the game. You can only kick a cheater out if he is on your team. So if the cheater gets in a group of 4-5 cheaters I don't believe they will kick each other out of the game when we all leave to go to a different game the cheaters follow because there are not enough servers or people to play because the Defs apparently like nerfing everything. I have never played a game in my life it took a whole dang clip to kill someone and the awesome guns in real life are utter crap for accuracy in this game. I do not tell my friends about this game.
Man! i really love this game, even more than CSGO( in my opinion CSGO is 4 star but MetroConflict The Origin is 10000000000000000000000000000... STAR!!!!!!! Like if you want MetroConflict back "SOMEDAY" <3
Edit 01th December 2017: I love this game. Loved it through beta, throught early access, still loving it!! <3 The devs are remaking it from the bottom, listning to people about bugs and fixes it. If you got any question u can also ask and get answeres and help right away! The devs really care for the players, and do not want this game to become a pay to win game. I was sad when ghost in the shell was going down, but this one stole my heart. No i do not like rainbow 6, its better! (my opinion!) Recommand trying it out at least! A shooting game, where each charcter have their own abilites. Kinda like cs meet something sci-fi stuff. Really recommand it, or at least give it a try! :) Have some small bugs, but i asume it would be fixed sortly :)
I was hoping that it would see beneficial changes. I wasn't entirely wrong, but making weapons accessible was a step forward. Removal of core game-modes was a giant leap and a failed backflip in the mud. The hitboxes are a mess as you can get kills by shooting behind the player, while hip-firing a sniper rifle point-blank will most likely miss. Using melee is a nightmare as the only way you will hit anyone is if you corner them or they go towards you in a straight line. Until these (among some other, possibly lesser) issues are fixed, I cannot recommend this quite yet. That said, I am glad to see it returning to STEAM and I sincerely hope it gets better.
Clunky movement. Horrible Servers and Netcode. Shooting mechanics are horrible and reward spray and pray. Horrible Server and Netcode. Badly designed maps. Horrible Servers and Netcode. Mouse input feels bad as if it has some smoothing to it that can't be disabled. Did i mention the horrible horrible servers and netcode yet? Almost no players, this game will die like the first attempt did. Due to to HORRIBLE SERVERS AND NETCODE!

Even though the game ended i still remember the memories and imagining that one day this game will make a comeback.
