Metonymy follows the story of Colin, Enoch and Tracy as they travel across a dystopian version of limbo filled with a corrupt theocratic government known as the Choir and the unbreakable hordes of the disease that appose them.

Hello! Thank you for sharing your "proof of concept." I love the character models, the art of the intro, the art of the first... throneroom / ceremonial burial chambers... Only three suggestions: 1) Make Interactable items throw up some kind of light or signal showing "E" or "use this..." Would be very helpful! 2) The character movement speed, while very grand and processional, is frustrating... perhaps an adjustible slider? 3) For the PC game, perhaps add in point/click for movement? The keyboard settings, as you ackowledge yourself, are a bit... funny. I walked into the side of a room, thinking it was the exit, and then fell out of sight, and couldn't manuever the character back into a visible space... hence the Point/Click suggestion!! :) Following... will gladly play any future patches!! Thank you for sharing!!
I recommend this, but not as a video game. I think it should honestly be listed in the videos section? There really isn't much gameplay, the only thing you control is the "walking". There's a menu "puzzle" that doesn't work very well (I don't even understand how I solved it), and beyond that the only interactivity was running the game from the Steam client. But I enjoyed it! At first I thought the story was janky and ridiculous, but as I got familiar with the lore making my Lumps Play for the game it all started to click together a little better, and I changed my mind to think that this could evolve into a pretty cool thing if it was supported. In its current form, it's definitely not a good game. But if you have an open mind who enjoys weird things, I'd give this one a sample! Or just watch my Lumps Play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxmztaiF_KU

I forgot to upload a review. I disliked this game and did not complete it. It was boring and a tiny bit confusing.

Cool art, interesting story. Just barebones gameplay if... at all. Not for everybody. Tags are misleading, very misleading. This is not an adventure game and there is't enough to call it story rich, it's lore rich... well let's settle for hints of a deeper lore. I, for one, would love to play an extended version, a.k.a. a full game out of this. With working menus and and a battle tutorial :)

Oh holy God, what the ♥♥♥♥ is even happening. This game is utterly abysmal, in every sense of the word. The voice acting is mediocre at best, laughable at worst. The character models scared my girlfriend, the shading on them was wretched at best, and the animations were unspeakably bad. I had to pause the game in order to bring up the menu to finish the random guessing puzzle, and the only real gameplay was rife with fixed camera angles which made controlling near unplayable. Thank God spamming button presses on my controller, which the game did support, got me through the unpolished rhythm game fight scene(?). Otherwise, it did not live up to either its potential, its inspirations, or its description on steam. For an indie game, I have seen so much better. 2/10, would not recommend, please make more games so that you can make something better.
