If you are looking for a puzzle game that can be both challenging and a little relaxing at the same time, then Meld is the kind of game for you. The levels are not so easy that you get bored and not too hard that you want to pull your hair out (at least not that I've seen yet). Meld has so many different power-ups and each level can be completed a number of different ways so you can always go back and try something new. I really love the level design feature for this game. It allows anyone to be able to create a custom level and upload it for everyone else to enjoy. This is genius! The level design feature opens the possibility for infinite replay value which I think is pretty awesome. 10/10 will be playing this game again.
This game is so hot that this platform would be called "Water" instead of "Steam" if it weren't for Meld.

Meld is a relaxig game about colour mixing to make a connection between 2 ends. It sounds simple enough buit it is not, I like the way you can do many different routes and can purchase stuff with plasma. Graphics are simple and don't need to be any better because this is solid.
Meld by Axis Games is a captivating puzzle game that requires strategic thinking. This deceptively simple premise of connecting like-colored elements to terminals quickly evolves into an engaging challenge. At its core, Meld involves manipulating colored tiles on a grid to create paths between starting and ending points. The challenge lies in the limited number of moves, the presence of obstacles, and the introduction of various power-ups that can drastically alter the playing field. Each level is a carefully crafted puzzle that requires players to think critically and plan their moves strategically. One of Meld's greatest strengths is its ability to introduce new mechanics and challenges gradually. As players progress, they encounter increasingly complex puzzles that require innovative solutions. The game's level design is masterful, with each puzzle building upon the previous ones, ensuring a steady learning curve. The inclusion of power-ups adds a layer of strategy and unpredictability to the gameplay. These power-ups, such as the ability to change the color of an element or destroy obstacles, can be used to overcome seemingly impossible challenges. However, their judicious use is crucial, as miscalculation can lead to unexpected consequences. Meld's quality of life features enhance the overall gameplay experience. The game offers a clear and intuitive interface, making it easy to understand the rules and controls. The ability to undo moves is a valuable tool that prevents frustration and allows players to experiment with different solutions. Additionally, the game's level editor encourages creativity and community engagement, as players can share their own custom levels with others. In conclusion, Meld is a captivating puzzle game that offers endless hours of entertainment. Its combination of strategic depth, challenging puzzles, and replayability make it a standout title in the genre. Whether you're a seasoned puzzle enthusiast or a casual gamer looking for a mental workout, Meld is sure to satisfy. [update] The developers addressed my feedback quickly and i'm enjoying the game, so i'm switching from a negative to a positive review! Thanks for listening and for the hard work, the game is great so far! [original review] There's this swirling rotating background that made me nauseous and rendered the game unplayable. It seems like a good concept but there's no way I can reccomend this game without the ability to disable this feature.
Got this in a bundle have to say I didn't expect such a nice game it's night here atm passed first 25 levels now I'm writing this +makes you think +makes you make better decisions +lots of levels +lots of powerups +colorful +doesn't get boring as it requires much attention +shop system for extra chance to 100% +custom level maker -you can be lost in thoughts -colorblind support *can't think of anything else.. it's a nice puzzle game for the price gets you occupied for maybe 5+ hours
Got this in a bundle and was not that interested in playing it an hour in. While there are a significant amount of levels, I would not consider this worth the currently "reduced" price of $9.99, maybe I'm spoiled by bundles. I will say I found everything was explained well and the mechanics overall are fairly intuitive. The logo as a guide for people who never took an intro to art class, was good use of screen space and just clever. But at the end of the gametime, I just didn't find it all that interesting compared to the many puzzle games I've completed.
AWESOME
Спасибо, разработчик, за смайлик в летней распродаже
Really enjoying the game, so far - but please change default camera rotation option to off - it is distracting, unsettling and a bit dizzying - and it turns itself back on whenever I re-launch the game, or exit to the main menu. Thanks.
