The gameplay here is slop. That's expected of the genre. It's actually a lot less slop than your average vampire survivors type game, but it's still slop. The point of these games is to turn your brain off and enter a robotic state, akin to the states induced by slot machines. If you want that then this game will work well. I may have almost 40 hours in the game but I can't say I enjoyed most of that time. At best I was distracting myself from the horrors of reality.

VS is still the undisputed GOAT but Megabonk is a definite contender in the "survivors" genre.

Dead game :( the dev dropped off the face of the earth and now there's no updates :*(

Maybe get it when its like a buck, but I haven't seen an update in months so its probably abandoned.

It's a goofy auto-battler that doesn't take itself too seriously, and neither should you.
