Megabonk

Game suffers from some very bad game design decisions. Timed stages. This is not vampire survivors or Risk of Rain. You have a set time to complete a stage or you lose. Sure, okay. In a game like this, that premise isn't fun but maybe you can overlook that flaw. I was willing to continue playing I'm not a fan of the itemization either. There are clear "best" options of weapons and tomes. As you unlock more of these, the chance of seeing the best options decreases. This is a flaw of these types of vampire survivor type games and Risk of Rain style roguelite games in general but it is very significant here. The number of good options are low in this game. The fatal flaw that showcases the bad design is this: in Megabonk you're limited to a set number of weapons/tomes. If you do not acquire good weapons and tomes, just reset. You're wasting your own time otherwise. Your starting character has a default weapon and this consumes one of the slots as well. In a game like vampire survivors, you can make a less than ideal starting weapon or not-great RNG work and you can play around it. In Megabonk, you cannot. I wanted to like this game. My enjoyment was high for the first hour. It steadily declined over the next few hours. If you are considering this game and haven't played Vampire Suvivors, buy that instead. If you're considering this game and haven't played Risk of Rain 1 or 2, buy either of those instead. 2/5

뱀서류 3D 버전인데 3D인 만큼 필드에 보스 소환, 보물 상자, 쥬크 박스 등등 상호작용 요소들을 많이 넣어둔 게 인상 깊었습니다. 다만 2D 뱀서류 만큼이나 많은 적과 싸우는 느낌은 약합니다. 많은 적을 쓸어버리고 싶다. -> 2D 뱀서류 전투 외에도 상호작용 요소들을 즐기고 싶다 -> 3D 뱀서류
