Учёный будет там работать, а его друг, управление которым осуществляет игрок, на подхвате – подай, принеси, разреши кучу головоломок. Но один эксперимент пошёл довольно неожиданно и теперь надо всех спасать. Игровой процесс вновь сосредоточен на решении множества головоломок, применении различных вещей (порой очень странным способом) и поиске тех самых предметов, в том числе, и в мини-играх. Головоломок довольно много, многие из них соответствуют тематике игры и довольно долго не занудны и не давят излишней сложностью. Оригинальностью они не блещут, но можно наткнуться на довольно редкие для этого жанра. Мини-игры на поиск предметов нечастые, да и заменить их можно на три-в-ряд. Если игрок испытывает проблемы с решением головоломок, он может их пропустить. Игра, в большинстве случаев, даже покажет решение, но в ускоренном виде. На различных локациях можно собирать три вида коллекционных предметов. Два вида – просто для коллекции. А третий – своеобразная валюта, которую можно потратить на обустройство комнаты в главном меню. Основные претензии могу предъявить только к сюжету и к алогичности применения некоторых предметов. Сюжет тут не особо яркий и оригинальный. Зато позволит посетить немало красиво нарисованных локаций и встретить красиво нарисованных персонажей, особенно – котиков. Ну а применение предметов... К примеру, на диване рассыпаны осколки стекла – их можно убрать только особенной щёткой, убрать тележку можно только прикрутив четвёртое колёсико... на трёх же она не уедет. Подобные условности нелепы и раздражают. Ну и частенько встречаю в играх этого разработчика, что не всегда сразу игра распознаёт клик мышки на нужном предмете. Независимо от того, где это происходит – во время мини-игр по поиску предметов или когда игрок использует вещь. Казалось бы, выбрал что нужно, но игра так не считает. В целом, Maze of Realities: Symphony of Invention Collector's Edition предлагает для решения большое количество головоломок и мини-игр на поиск предметов. Но ряд игровых условностей может раздражать. I got this game for under $2 so I figured it couldn't be that bad for the money. WRONG! I'm an old hand at HOG's, I was playing on EASY. Some of the items that you need to use on other items make no sense whatsoever. A couple of the mini games were tedious and took a while to get through. The straw that broke the camel's back was a mini game similar to an arcade game that is totally broken. I decided to stop putting myself through the agony. I would not even recommend this game on sale. Unfortunately for me, too late to refund.

Не могу порекомендовать эту игру, даже по большой скидке (я покупала ее менее чем за 2 евро). Она мне не понравилась. Я наиграла достаточно много разных игр из этого жанра, но именно эта мне не понравилась ни сюжетно, ни рисовкой. Часто меня ставила в тупик не головоломка, а сама попытка угадать что же разработчик имел в виду, когда хотел показать какой-либо объект ( игра пытается показать нам фантастический сюжет из будущего). Эта непонятная логика выбора элементов сильно раздражала на протяжении всего прохождения, и в конце концов я просто отложила завершение этой игры на время, когда пройду другие игры из купленных на фестивале скидок. На момент написания этого отзыва я не закончила эту игру, надеюсь, я ее все же до-пройду позже - пока у меня такого желания нет.
