[h1] I'll recommend this game with a [b] MASSIVE [/b] caveat: [/h1] [i] tldr at bottom [/i] timed and scored runs exist - and it can still be [u] wildly [/u] inconsistent; especially at higher speeds. you could take the same line 10 times, and sometimes it feels like only a fraction of those times were expected/normal. there are still "pebbles" that if you hit, you will dismount from your bike; this is due to incorrect hitboxes; this screws with me, especially when trying to get leaderboard runs. it isnt all the time, but enough for me to put this here; as a warning. it makes me want to rip my hair out sometimes. this problem manifested extremely in the early days of MAVRIX - and its way more manageable than it used to be; but every time i hop on i always end up asking "how TF did i dismount here????" I'd recommend this game with that understanding in mind. [h2] The flip side: [/h2] this is arguably one of the best games for MTB out there - the game has been getting consistent updates - and although the player-base is small on steam, it is cross-platform; If you enjoy playing casually id highly recommend this game over any other one. I'd say there's about 10-20 hours of gameplay before it starts getting repetitive, but like i said above, if they continue updating (like they have been) this should be an absolute beast of a game. [h3] TLDR: [/h3] overall this game is worth it; outside of some minor issues that (if they continue updating) should be fixed, and more content should be added making the game even more worth purchasing. based on their updates, and (afaik) transparency with their plans; id recommend.
