I'll have to say that, I love the art style. The game's music, combined with its controls offers a very relaxed gaming experience. One of my favourite things to do in Masteroid is going into combat. And watching the colours from the weapons illuminate the void. Otherwise, if you do not feel for blowing up space ships with your awesome weapons. You can do missions or mine asteroids. So is there potential for the game? Yes, I believe there is plenty of room for Masteroid to grow.
- Looks nice - Sounds nice - Plays nice - Is nice If you are looking for a couple hours of relaxing 2D Space Combat or Mining, you won't regret it at this price.
( version 1.2 at the time of writing ) i havent been playing this for long, but there is 1 thing i would like, and that is to be able to choose what color ure ship lights/thrusters are, for example right now they are green, but i would like to see it customizable, either with preset colors or with an rgb picker. i personally would go for red :-) other then that, im liking this game :-)
For the price I think the game is a pretty chill experience. The world is procedurally generated, yeah, and weapons/ships/missions are pretty straightforward, but the gameplay loop is fun and there's enough variety and behind-the-scenes changes (asteroid fields changing, resource price fluctuating, etc.) to encourage you to explore and try different things.
They added achievements.
:/
Game is a prototype for a game. It looks good but there's almost no game here.
Game is very fun, simple. Needs Interface scaling, the user interface is so small I can barely see it at my screens current resolution.
