I first played this game when I was 5 years old. Then my PC broke down and I lost it but I brought a new laptop and bought the game from Steam and it was running great but when I was playing Hot-Seat game after progressing very far in the game mode when I clicked END PHASE, suddenly all the units disappeared form the map and nothing was showing up. I re-entered the saved game but the same thing happened again. Please fix it! I will be very much obliged. Thank you!

同年第一款策略pc游戏，还记得初中那个时候买了光盘高兴的忘乎所以，白天上学晚上蒙着被子偷偷打开笔记本玩，那时候tinkpad功率很高，经常热的要把脑袋露出来呼吸几口冷空气再继续蒙着被子打，喜欢这款的小伙伴可以试试兵者诡道，ub做的很经典的，能玩儿十几个小时不上厕所的那种。

I recommend it if it's cheap, it's graphics aren't great but it's a pretty good turn based strategy game.

This game is the first strategy game i ever played as a kid and it sparked a lifelong love for the genre. As far as game-play goes, it's very simple to grasp, but takes time to get the intricacies. I would honestly liken the game to chess; if chess were played on a hex grid, with terrain obstacles, and each piece had more than one hit point. There is also sea and air combat. Sea is fun and the battleship is OP but that makes it that much more awesome. The air combat is limited to one unit, but that unit invincible unless your city is captured or its carrier is sunk, so it adds a little nuance to the game. There is no economy aside from a set amount of money you get each round to buy new units, but that is temporary and eventually runs out, so don't play this expecting to have buildings to upgrade or anything. My favorite units are the mobile launcher and guard towers because they strike had from a distance. The Launcher can move so its health is low, but the tower is stationary so it has high health. They are useful for firing from behind your frond line or defending a city from invaders. Anyway, all in all, this game is simple yet fun, Short, but sweet, and can be as hard or as easy as you want it to be. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a simple strategy game or wants some throwback fun.

Great game that I've enjoyed for years, both cd-rom and steam versions, but now will not start at all. The game immediately crashes to desktop. Edit for Fix, courtesy of Lv-426acheron: "Sorry, of course. Download "Dgvoodoo2 " ( actual version is 2.81.3). Inside it`s .zip file you will find a folder named "MS", inside "MS" you will find a folder "X86". The content of "X86", which are 4 .dll files, do copy in your main directory of Massive Assault. Then start your game. In the .zip is also a file called "dgvoodoocpl.exe", you can also copy it to your main direcory of your game if you want to edit several options of Dgvoodoo. Use it later if necessary, try to start the game first without using it."

Fun game, good price for this game, can be extremely difficult.

The mechanics are clean and simple and you really need to think your way through your turns pretty good turn based strategy and tactical game for all stages of knowledge good graphics and sound

I absolutely recommend this game. It has provided me with hours and hours and fun and entertainment. Seriously! I continue to reenstall it over and over cause it has turned into one of my fallback titles.
