Mason: Building Bricks

Okay I just got this and I have to say it is AMAZING. Being able to build what I want, however I want, and it looks good? This game is more like a program and you can easily build whatever buildings you need for whatever reason, mine is stories, which you can build fantastic looking fantasy buildings and huts and whatever you can think of. Thank you to the people that put this together, this is something I've been looking for for a long time. And it's not like Minecraft either, looks better, obviously, builds way simpler, it's really amazing. I don't normally give out this much praise for games in reviews but this game definitely deserves it. Edit: I did get this on sale for about $3, I don't know if it's worth the full price? $20 seems a bit much for it, but I would recommend getting it on sale, 50% off or higher.

Listen if you spend all your time building in games like minecraft or sims and felt frustrated by the constraints of the games this is the game for you. There is a bit of a learning curve but I am having so much fun building in this game. I hope we get more block options

I'm using this game to create spaces in a novel I'm writing, and this is a brilliant tool for the purpose. There are enough architectural details and finishes, and the ability to choose a broad colour range (including tints and shades) that a lot can be achieved. Add the ability to change the view from birds-eye-view (including zoom) to on the ground (which allows you to walk through your creations), and you've got a winner. There are some things I'd like added like mirrors, picture frames, wall sconces or lamps, but you can work around those. (I've been using a slipper chair to represent toilets in the bathrooms.) For the price, this is an easy to use and meditative game and I would recommend it for those looking for a more sophisticated version of Lego.

I think it is very much worth the price, even better in the sales, runs smooth, great if you like building and designing. You get a choice of which area type you would like to start in. You can build and create anything from a building to a town or village, options are endless.

This is an amazing game. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys intricate constructions. Just looking at the mechanics and graphics was enough to win me over. The variety of things and their endless uses also helped. This is the kind of game I've been seeking. The game's developer might take it to the next level by encouraging players to construct fortified structures that must repel enemies? Or let's pretend we're a mason in a bygone era who gets paid to construct or repair buildings. The game's 4K visuals and performance (4070ti i9900k) are perfect. I really hope I live to witness the next level of building games like this one.

J'apprécie la grande liberté qui nous est donnée pour créer tout ce qui nous vient à l'esprti. Mais il serait bien d'avoir des briques plus variées, en particulier dans la section MoyenAge des voutes, des fenêtres gothique, des fenêtres à meneaux. Sortir aussi du cadre Occidental pour s'adonner aux joies de l'architecture du Moyen et de l’Extrême Orient/

Un jeu tr_s sympa sans autre but que de créer un monde selon ses envies. Faites éclater vos talents d'architecte et de paysagiste en créant des villes antiques, médiévales ou modernes. Vous pouvez aussi faire une ville qui mélange touts les styles. Il est toutefois difficile de placer les chapiteaux sur les colonnes. D'autre part, comment retrouver son point de départ quand on part explorer le terrain sur lequel nous construisons? Mis à part ces inconvénients, le jeu est très sympa.
