Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

Amazing story, decent combat, constant interactions with the team so the world feels alive, only real complaint is that the teams voice lines can be limited at times and can be repetitive every so often, but it wasnt that bad. Definitely wasnt expecting any kind of emotional scenes from a game like this, but good golly.. This game is majestic, it has cringy humor, real stuff, and emotional scenes. Definitely a must play if you like the marvel universe even a little bit

Took me a while to complete this game (a 3 years hiatus actually), but I loved it the whole way through. The characters are on point, and you can really find the humorous synergy of the movies. The gameplay is quite good, and the combos you can execute are sick! Just wished the game was a little tougher, but overall probably the best superhero game I've played except the Batman Arkham trilogy.

I gotta admit, this game is cinematically one of the best. It has the best comedy, banters, and whatever you can experience from a Marvel movie, you’ll get it here. But I won’t ignore there are some severe drawbacks that this game has. - Constant game crashing when ray tracing is turned on. I’m using DLSS so I believed the GPU will be able to handle it, but sadly I had to restart the game several times until I decided to turn off ray tracing and it quite solved the problem. - QTEs are NOT INTUITIVE. For the love of god, please, please stop adding QTEs that will just frustrate anyone who’s going through the game. It was especially hard on mouse and keyboard, gladly I already have a PS5 controller with me. And please, BETA TEST your software properly as I think it was not properly reviewed with how frustrating it was. - Combat is okay, but for an average player, some combat options are not intuitive as well. I had to spam all character and team skills just for them to die. Also, the button placements are quite weird on keyboard, which is of course adjustable, but bruh it frustrated and almost ragebaited the “flark” out of me. I had to adjust back to Normal difficulty because of this severe issue I got with combat. Other than that, I believe this is a good game to try finishing. It’s more fulfilling than just watching GoTG in cinemas. And I honestly wished Peter Quill’s human model existed in real life cause I’d honestly want a chitchat and talk over coffee with him. Haha 🥲
