Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

Overall a good but a mixed bag of a singleplayer game, but oh my god will this really test your patience, this has the slowest pacing i have ever seen in a game. I don't mind character banter and downtime and emotional set up all that, but this takes it to a extreme degree where to takes FOREVER for something to happen to move the plot forward or get the next scene that matters. I am not exaggerating when I say you could watch the 3 movies back to back and in that time the plot of this game finally starts. There is WAY TOO much pointless traversal and easy puzzles that are very obviously made for padding out its runtime, now don't get me wrong there is so many spoken lines here it boggles the mind. Sometimes too much where they will not stop taking for entire chapter, and I enjoyed the banter moderately, but with how long it takes to actually move the story long it hurt my enjoyment over time. Ans the frustrating thing is the story here is pretty good, some of the scenes that are very well directed and a joy to watch, Peter's childhood and the delusions how it effected him or how the delusions effected Drax for example. How it takes half a dozen hours to actually to get to the meat of the story here, and it would have been a much better game of cutting out the bloat. So this is a odd experience as the actual bare bones of the story was good not great though that ending was underwhelming. Its gameplay and combat a lot of people hate on, but I actually liked it. Don't met me wrong it sucks early game with nothing unlocked, but once you get more resources to upgrade and unlock more abilities for your squad that's where it hits its stride. combining the squad abilities including your own dashing into hand to hand combat with a random teammate joining in your combos, huddling up and being super charged against overwhelming odds was pretty fun despite its lack of depth. Though i gotta give props to Edios here for licensing so many classic 80s tracks in this, it was a really nice tough This is a odd review as i can't say its bad in the traditional sense, yes its gameplay isn't that complex and gets repetitive but it isn't offensively bad or difficult. Its story is overall mixed, but the graphics are pretty incredible here and at a discounted price (lol don't pay $60 for this) you do get a lot of content for your money despite the content being very long and boring at times. Get it for $15 less imo I'm just glad i finished this, 19 hours is way too long for this game

Pörgős, vicces, jó a harcrendszere. Nem olvastam a képregényeket, ami alapján a játék készült, de minden érthető ígyl is. Bár jópár eastereggről lemeradok, gondolom.
