Recent season a mess of bugs and broken teamups. I also have never seen such a bad case of eomm system as in this game in my lifetime, every second game a leaver or a thrower. And it will keep happening because this company doesn't care and just gives these people a 15 hour ban so they can throw the next day again.
Balancing is comically ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

♥♥♥♥ this game, i have ONE good match or THREE and then i get horrible teammates. how is the matchmaking that terrible? id rather play league for legends or valorant then this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, at least then i could maybe get out of plat one but instead i play this game and just keep going up and down.
Marvel Rivals is a solid game, but the community needs to be studied by scientists. I downloaded it expecting superhero fights. Instead I loaded into a lobby where Spider-Man was flirting with Venom, Jeff the Land Shark was getting called "babygirl," and someone was arguing that Doctor Doom is "breedable." I don't even ask questions anymore. Half the players are sweating like it's the grand finals. The other half are in chat acting like this is a dating app with superpowers. The game itself is awesome. The people playing it? Y'all scare me. Every time I open chat I lose a little more faith in humanity... and then I queue for another match. The community should be kept under observation.
Although there are good things that can be said about Marvel Rivals, there is still so much awfulness within that I'm unable to ignore for any longer. That being said, I'll try to do a "Good-Bad" format. Good: The idea of a class-shooter based on the Marvel property is an interesting idea and one that I would get behind when I began playing in Season 0. I enjoyed seeing reskins based on Marvel characters (like Rocky, for instance). I didn't really care that these were simple reskins, even bad ones like Captain Mustard, because they were still content in the game that I could just not interact with. Bad: Logging on to Marvel Rivals is sensory hell, and I mean it with no exaggeration. The amount time you'll have to spend navigating menus, sub-menus, and whole maps disguised as menus is staggering. Even finding the right mode to play requires some techno-literacy to navigate through. Good: I love about 95% of how all the base heroes look in Rivals. At first, I thought I'd hate Hawkeye's or Psylocke's base skin, but they've kind of grown on me throughout my time in the game. Bad: Given how simple a lot of the in-game maps are, it's still shocking how this game still takes up over 100 Gigabytes of space on my SSD. I understand that it would be worse, had not for the numerous optimization updates since Season 1, but come on. Good: The heroes' kits fit the characters well, and are generally well-designed in isolation, but... Bad: ...in a scrimmage, there's too much going on to decipher when to press what at an exact millisecond of time. That's enough of the 'Good-Bad' format, so I'll put my misc. thoughts and opinions below here. [*] To the toxic people that make this game miserable, please grow and change your attitudes. You toxic individuals have unironically made me a worse person to be around in the real world as a result of your behaviors in-game. [*] I hate the maps that are basically giant menus, like Times Square and the Beach. They're fun, yes, but they're not for this game and take up precious game space. [*] This take will definitely get hot water, but... remove Practice vs. AI. There's a lot of people in Rivals who believe that Practice vs. AI will help people be better at the game. No. The only thing that it's decent in is learning new characters. Even then, you still don't get the full story of how certain abilities interact with other hero's abilities, or how certain enemy's abilities affect your abilities. Even when the bots on the hardest difficulty, you learn little, especially when a player on your team picks Penny. If Quick Play were the only option, more people would actually learn the game better. No doubt some fish would fry as a result of this potential change, but it's more food for the sharks. [*] I wish there were more blue-rarity skins overall what you could just purchase with credits in the hero selection menu. I swear, there's so many purple-rarity skins, that it equals blue- and orange-rarity ones combined. [*] There are too many gooner skins in the game. I understand that Marvel comics aren't exactly conservative when it comes to outfits in issues, but come on. There's a whole franchise that you have access to, NetEase, and you want to just pump out swimsuits? Typical. Final thoughts I tried to enjoy this game in the time that I could. I did enjoy it for a good while, but all the bad things holding it back make me feel miserable in the end.
This has to be the worst matchmaking implementation I’ve ever experienced. Calling it 'matchmaking' at this point feels like a stretch, it’s the single most requested fix since launch, yet every single update manages to degrade it further. Getting thrown into a bot lobby in the middle of a winning streak makes zero sense. Credit where it's due: Season 9 is fantastic. The team-up mechanics breathe new life into every hero, making the core gameplay feel fresh. But the underlying algorithm ruins it completely—it’s just a forced 50/50 loop of 9 wins followed by 10 losses, over and over. No amount of cool content can save a game with a broken foundation. Until they address this, players will keep dropping off after testing the new updates
赢一局安排elo,输一局安排人机
Every match is stomp or be stomped and it doesn't lead to a particularly fun or interesting game.
