About

Find your flow as you chain together dashes, wallrides and the grapple claw yoink. With an ability for every situation, you’ll find yourself gliding through levels while weaving in deadly attacks against the vermin. Alternate mech legs unlock the ability to slide across the ground to build up incredible momentum or to hover in mid-air as you rain down destruction.

Use the gatling-style heavy fire of the Despot as you approach your foes, until you’re close enough to unleash the terrifying power of its bouncing slugshots to tear through your enemies. Maybe you prefer the rapid bursts of flechette projectiles from the Orchid and its full-auto galvanic heavy fire. Or perhaps all you need is a single well-timed shot from the all-powerful Railslayer to pierce through your enemies

Call down orbital strikes, emit static discharge, or spread withering rot with every shot. Grow your strength with classic rogue-like upgrades that affect everything from your movement to your shoulder cannon. Whether you prefer to bolster your defenses, accelerate your movement or amplify your weaponry, there is a path for you.

You’re not the only one that’s well-equipped. Whether it’s the leaping Apostate’s razor sharp scythes or the blazing projectiles of the Acolyte, each enemy brings its own deadly weaponry. Anticipate the overpowering barrage of the Carrion Prowler, evade the sweeping lasers of the Asterophore, and focus down the elusive Mnemosynth. Only the truly skilled will reach the sacred Terminus and face off against the vile Hierophant.

Finding your favored arms is just the first step on the journey to mastering Marrow Marrow. Each run will bring you more and more in tune with the movement and allow you to traverse more freely and nimbly than you ever thought possible. When gliding through the levels becomes second nature, you become an unstoppable force of vermin annihilation.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/4MVwEGA6HHY This is a high-octane, intense parkour heavy arena shooter. You will be in constant motion as you mow down enemies from all sides. You have a grapple hook, a dash, fast movement, wall-runs, and bounce pads that will have you going all around the arena like lightning in a thunder storm. You also have all kinds of loadouts with several upgrades in between waves. There's just constant action. While there are comfort options available, I believe this game is geared towards veteran PCVR players who are accustomed to smooth locomotion and smooth turning set to mach speeds. You can play comfortably seated, but standing is recommended so you can even more quickly target enemies all around you. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 5090, I was getting a steady 90 fps. I did not experience any issues or bugs during my gameplay. Marrow Marrow
I don't know what it is, but it's addictive!
I must say it turned me on, it's a fast-paced, fun, and addictive game with different weapons, parkour, and zip line to help with combat, and I managed to finish it on my first try without dying, I unlocked some new weapons, I'll test them out, but it's a really decent game, without serious performance issues or bugs/glitches, very well made, so to speak. I hope more content will be released for it, maybe even more maps with different biomes, but anyway, I recommend it! I received the key before the launch. Thank you for your trust! Interestingly, I was waiting for the launch, it was on my wish list lmao! It was also recommended in my curation.
I played the demo before release and got instantly hooked (pun intended). Now with the full game, there is more of everything and that more is also better. A simple TLDR would be: Risk of Rain 2 meets ULTRAKILL, in VR. If you like roguelikes and boomer shooters, this is your game. Now for the gameplay, it is awesome. The movement is fast paced, shooting is fun and flashy and there are a lot of special abilities/weapons you can use. Grappling hook movement is always fun. And I absolutely adore the sound design! The weapons sound so satisfying to shoot with. Haven't yet explored all of the content throughout, but there seems to be good amount of weapons and modifyers to unlock and play with. Looking forward to seeing what they are all about. This game is definitely a keeper!
Very fun arcadey shooter. Addictive gameplay loop. I bounced off the demo of this pretty quickly – it felt awkward and enigmatic and I felt slow and dumb -- but then I was just getting back into VR after eight years without VR. But there was something about it, so I came back to it, persevered and learned how it worked and got my fast artificial movement VR legs, and grew to really love the demo (12.7 hours on it). And now the full game is here. It has a peculiar look at first, but you soon realize the graphics create an easy-to-understand visual language (I think this is mentioned in the dev's notes, and I think they nailed it). There's not even a whiff of a story, nor is there any need for one. Make up your own. Instead, this game feels like a throwback to simpler times, to early arcade games of the 1980s that were just pure pick-up-and-play fun with endless replayability. Except now you're INSIDE the game and the controls are phenomenally responsive and deliciously analog in feel. The freedom of movement in this game is where it's at -- jumping, air control, using the grappling hook (including to launch yourself into the air), air dashing in any direction, performing executions, flying through the air off of launchpads, running across and up walls, ducking, executing fast 180 turns, getting the perfect coordination of the artificial movement and your own room scale / body movement, and just getting totally immersed in the feeling of wearing a mech suit and hunting vermin in some kind of weird, maybe slightly Tron-like, maybe post-apocalyptic platform arena. This game just feels irresistible once you get into the zone! It can almost feel like a rhythm game at times. The weapons are fun and feel great. The upgrades are excellent and can really change how you play the ensuing level and make every run different. I'm just getting into the mutators (since the full game only went live today and mutators were disabled for the demo) but I can already tell I'm going to LOVE the Lo Grav one (the game already lets you basically fly most of the time, Lo Grav brings this even further – it reminded me of back in 2000, playing Unreal Tournament on a Lo Grav server that I would frequent). This is why I dedicated a room in my house and came back to VR. The music does a good job of filling in the audio. I'm not sure I'll be humming it while doing the dishes... but maybe. The sound effects are very effective at communicating exactly what is happening – for example when a vermin is ready to be executed, or when your shoulder weapon is about to reset, or when your glyph is about to run out, or when your heavy alt arm cannon is about to run out of Roe, or when a spider boss is about to unleash a volley... you just KNOW. And each enemy type has its own sounds. Also, I use a 12" sealed SVS subwoofer in my dedicated VR room, to augment the audio from my Quest 3, and there is NOTHING like the bass from this game. I highly recommend getting a subwoofer setup, it just makes things feel so much more immersive, and Marrow Marrow takes great advantage of the low bass potential. Any room for improvement? I think the biggest area deserving of enhancement is pretty obvious: multiplayer. Whether co-op or competitive or versus, some type of multiplayer element would be fantastic. I also think there's an opportunity for a little bit more expansive levels, something like the "Tier 5" Quake 3 Arena levels (the ones that are in open space with all the teleporters and jump pads). And being able to skip to the third, very vertical biome would be keen. I'm playing in a Quest 3, wireless using a Davolink "Kevin" router as a dedicated VR streamer through Virtual Desktop, on a 7800X3D / 5070 Ti. It should go without saying, but performance is absolutely flawless. The game is also available on the Meta store, and the PCVR / SteamVR version doesn't really feature any enhancements, but you can run it at 120 Hz with high supersampling with no drops and it just works. The immersiveness is not in highly detailed textured polygons or highly accurate ray-traced lighting, but in BEING there and moving around in there, and for that the graphics are exactly what you need. Overall I would really recommend this, or at least trying the demo. Give it some time to work itself into your brain and for practice to have an effect.
Blood Sweat and Tears for the blood god. This legit might be most fun cardio I've had in a minute and there's gonna be more. Stay healthy gamers
Love this game for its movement and non-stop action. Movement is solid and never skips a beat. High paced combat requires accuracy. Solid levels that are small, but can be whipped around in seconds. Performance is great. Visuals are solid - they do exactly what they need to do, and there's no holes in it. You lose yourself in this game because the action is non-stop and the movement is fluid, intuitive and fast. There's enough of a game loop, enemy progression, in-game skill progression through upgrades, to keep momentum through the runs. Unlock more as you progress. There's grapple hooks, two different fire modes, shoulder mounted weapon, power landings, grapple kills just to get you started. Then you have to chain it together in fluid efficient map clearing. If you enjoyed Ghostrunner in UEVR but want native VR; Windlands but want faster, endless combat; Wrath VR shooter and speed, but without doors to unlock.... this is it.
Getting my review in to help visibility. It's pretty damn fun, things seem overwhelming at first but you settle into a groove pretty quickly. The AI and enemy design is a little basic right now, and I feel like grappling is too much of a crutch mechanic, trivializing a lot of the enemies, but these are issues I see getting figured out as development continues.
This game is a lot of fun. It has the tighest shmoovement of any VR game I've played. Once you get the hang of it, you can absolutely fly around the levels. The demo showcases the movement quite well, I'd recommend giving it a try.
