You ever accidentally stumble into playing the exact right game at the exact right time in your life? That's what just happened to me. I'm going through a pretty turbulent time right now, with a lot of changes, uncertainty, and lack of control or purpose, just a vague hope that things will sort themselves out when the time is right. And I've been in a gaming slump and haven't started a new game in almost 2 months, so I just picked the shortest game on my backlog. I'm so glad I did. The message was absolutely what I needed to hear right now; it's okay to not have everything figured out, life figures itself out without you really realizing it. I adore the art style, and the point and click adventure style gameplay felt really nostalgic (even if the hitboxes were a little finnicky at times). But yeah, this was exactly the game I needed to play right now. Excited for the sequel!
This one's partially on me for missing the fact this was advertised as slice of life, but it really did feel like I was just doing random BS for no reason. Some of the tasks make sense, but most feel like they're just random, with clutter there for no good reason. The first couple of rooms literally involve you picking up every random thing in the respective rooms before they let you go on (I quit thinking it was glitched, and then "happily" learned the game doesn't save), and then random tasks get required in each room, with varying degrees of sense. There's one major event midway and some random musings from the protagonist related to a "bio-chemistry" book (that is illustrated with diagrams you'd find in a mix of various high school books) later on, but there's no real plot. The achievements make it all slightly more annoying since they're a mix of "obvious" stuff, stuff you might do if you're curious enough, and completely unintuitive stuff. There's a "be honest" achievement that I missed because I didn't click on a character for dialogue and the game let me leave that room (you can never backtrack), when this was elsewhere obligatory (and giving him a random object also locks you out of a separate achievement because "♥♥♥♥ you", I guess).

This was a really fun, quick play! The visuals are so beautiful and I LOVED the colour-scheme <3
the artstyle is so incredible and cozy i cant wait for the next game from the dev
Really enjoyed this!
A lovely game with important messages and an interesting artstyle. I am really interested in "Mitch" and if it will explore the relationship between Margo and Mitch more. Easy recommend!
a good game
Margo is an amazingly cute game made by really amazing people. I enjoy coming back to this point & click game now and then for a refresh for my brain and eyes. The artwork style is beautifully unique, the point and & click game style makes me feel like I'm a kid again, and the storyline is really lovely. I can't wait to see what's in store in the next game, Mitch. Please keep making more and more games, you guys rock at it! Thanks for sharing your creation with the world.
