This is good rollin'
Patti Hattu by any other name is still Patti Hattu, a game? Yes. An art piece foremost, what can I say about this game that has not already been said... a human can try, and as Patti Before me, he strives to impress his alien overseers; I must follow. Sisyphus rolls his boulder and remains content in the constant toil, Patti, as if to mock Sisyphus to his face, impresses the gods with little effort, and yet he remains captive, never truly escaping his (Marble) abduction and therefore never escaping the toil of earth life. Just as the myth says, there is no progress in effort, only endless yearning. Just as I strive to escape my life with Patti Hattu, he strives to escape his bleak situation with the mere figments of a dreamlike America surrounding him. But effort is pointless; he can do nothing to escape his toil. Similarly, we can do nothing to escape ours. Yet he keeps working, keeps pushing that marble, because what is life if not progress? We may not accomplish much in our fleeting, daylight-ridden lives, and yet the idea of progress will push us ever forward. I hope this ode to the human condition can bring you as much reverence and solitude as it has me. Thank you, Patti, thank you so much. 10/10

Marble Madness con i colori e le atmosfere di Mario Sunshine e Astro Bot = Gioco della vita. Penso che sia il primo gioco che meriterebbe davvero l'aggiunta del feedback aptico del DualSense!
This game rules
This game has unique mechanics for a marble platformer, and it is (literally) oozing with style. Level designs are varied and interesting, and the game really encourages you to pick up speed with the safety of an air brake which is cleverly implemented. There are some flaws, with an overreliance on invisible walls and death planes to punish curious players who might want to skip larger segments of the courses. And some of the hitboxes are hard to read based on the visual models of hazards and terrain. But there's a great experience to be had once you've learned the ropes. I have a lot of experience with marble platformers and I was able to beat the game with the game's highest time rating on each level in about 9 hours. After that there are hidden secrets to be found in every stage. Your playtime with vary significantly based on your skills and on the goals you set for yourself along the way. If you want to challenge yourself to improve your times beyond the highest rating, the sky is the limit.
