In the realm of mortals, it is Gojun who reigns after killing the former god of war, Maneki. Now Maneki's soul is trapped in the Underworld--a rich labyrinth from which no soul can escape. But the former god of war's soul is unlike any other, and his vengeance has had a millennium to burn.

Nice short romp though with a lot of irritaing mazes. Tried the different final fights and alliance with Michiko. Wonder what happens next in the mortal realm. Part 2..?
WOW - This is seriously free!!?? You should definately get it! A game where you can walk around and take ghosts souls, fight monsters and get lost in a labyrinth. Edit: I just read that and it sounds sarcastic - its not, the game is actually really good for a free game!
Maneki's Curse 10 из 10
Без русского.
"Maneki's Curse" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. The cringe here can't be overstated, it would be impossible... this fanfiction RPG Maker asset flip is based on other high school anime club dropout fanfictions from the "developer" who used Kadokawas childrens toy construction kit to make this. It's like weaponised cringe. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and never results in games of any reasonable quality or value to gamers. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Another RPG maker.
its crap with how you need souls for everything and has no speed up fuction !
-another RPG maker -no screen/audio config -too much talking/wandering, not enough fighting...
E' molto complesso, ma dopo solo 0.3 ore di gioco possi dire che ha potenziale. Non vedo l'ora di scoprire come finisce. (It is tricky, but after just 0.3 hours in the game i can say it has potential. I can't wait to discover how it ends.)
