The hand smoothing that goes on behind the scenes for this game is diabolical. It can make you feel like you're fighting an uphill battle. SO SO many games I am given nothing when my opponent has been given the answer to everything I do. It can make for a very horrible feeling/experience. Would not recommend, but if you insist on playing DO NOT give them your money, earn it naturally through the game.
instructions unclear, i now have 2 IRL commander decks tried arena as an intro to magic- good for fundamentals, people did not think i only played for 1 month LOL (brawl isn't as fun as commander, sigh, but it'll do)

The monetization system in the game promotes playing as quickly, aggressively, and cutthroat-ly as possible, as there is no reward for simply playing a game. There is no space for casual decks in which you try out fun, novel combos/gimmicks that aren't strictly the best ones you could possibly perform. This leads to miserable games where the outcome is usually decided by turn 3, whether you're playing to win (50/50 that you succeed) or to have fun (~10% chance to survive past turn 6). You're often matched against decks that are full of mythics and rares when you're only running two mythics, a rare, and the rest uncommon/commons. This could be fixed somewhat by including a gamemode where you play against more than one person, as then your opponent will have to think, but WotC are apparently too lazy to bother coding any such format. Purchase or proxy cards and find people to play with IRL. Play on Tabletop Simulator, where you can use any card for free. Play Hearthstone. They have similar issues, but they bothered to include single-player content. Just don't play this, unless all you care about is making the opponents life total hit zero as fast as possible.
Great game, runs and plays well!
Extremely predatory gacha economy. Avoid this game. If that's not enough reason for you, here are a few other points: - Very buggy - Frequent crashes/disconnections - Some updates randomly worsen performance - Digital wildcards cost about as much as IRL singles - No commander - Alchemy I hate that this is pretty much the only real modern way to play MTG digitally. I only have this many hours played because I love the card game itself. Arena has been making Magic worse ever since it launched, and I hope they give up on it and develop a new consumer-friendly way to play the card game digitally with your friends.
É um bom jogo, porém se você quiser ser bom é necessário investir um bom tempo. Para o pessoal que só quer dar uma desopilada funciona como um jogo de estratégia maneiro e a cultura em torno do jogo também é bem legal.
Came back after years of not playing. This game is a laggy mess. Everything takes forever now and it has not changed for the better. Immediately uninstalled.
very good game, well made, runs well, a commander game mode would be nice
After many hours on the phone and now a few hours on Steam, I can say I enjoy this game quite alot. Surely, games are not always fair, but thats not a reason for me to quit. All in all, it's a great challenge, not only to play but also building the right deck that works for you.
umm i like spider-man!!
