Arena used to have an option for 10$ to buy 4 rare wildcards, and 20$ to buy 4 mythics. That was expensive already, but for their "summer sale" they removed this outright purchase option and replaced it with having to purchase these with gems. They assumed people wouldn't do the math, and see SALE and purchase. They say, "summer sale" but the cost for 4 rare wildcards has gone UP to 12$ for rare, and 24$ for mythic. Absolutely shameless. I have spent easily 500$+ in the last 6 months on this game, and will not spend another cent until they fix their monetization.
I started playing magic since 2003 and playing this since the beta. I don't consider myself a pro by a looong shot but i really enjoy magic and used to enjoy this game too(Despite it's many flaws). Right now i wouldn't recommend entering this game from scratch. As many people have said it's very difficult to get enough cards for a competitive deck without spending money. On top of that the all the universes beyond have corrupted the game without believe and i don't mean that only lorewise but gameplay wise. For all this sets they drop a lot of OP cards of the flagship characters of the ip that bring even more power creep than we already had and a ****ton of legendaries for commander or simple draft trash. The decline has been slow but constant. I haven't abandoned magic entirely because of the sunk cost in tons of cards that right know are chatching dust in my closet. If you still wish to learn to play instead of playing this go to your local store and buy a preconstructed deck(Of an in universe set if you can) you'll have a better time.
ottimo gioco per iniziare con macig, super welcoming e completo, animazioni fatte molto bene e porcodio
The game just kinda beats you to death with tutorials and doesnt feel good to play at all codes dont work and the card selection is just a dumpster fire I would never in a million years recomend this game to anyone that could possibly show an interest in mtg
It's a fun card game. The resource system can be frustrating when it refuses to give you the lands to play the game properly, but following the advice of the game and having around ~20-25 lands in a deck does comfortably minimise the risk of these games happening consistently. But the active resource system can still give you occasional headaches by adding another way of getting bricked

Play magic instantly yes!
really simple to get into especially if you played magic before. just sucks some cards are banned/unavailable if you want to recreate your irl deck.
