Менюшки, описания 10/10, сам геймплей - шляпа. Игра будто недоделана, но попробовать стоит
Madness Arena is a chaotic multiplayer shooter that I found pretty entertaining once I got into its rhythm. The game mixes anime inspired characters with more realistic environments, creating a strange visual style that actually gives the matches a lot of personality. I liked the idea of jumping into an arena where anything can happen and where the focus is more on fast fun than serious military realism. The combat is built around third person shooting and special abilities, with the matches designed around player versus player and player versus environment action. I enjoyed having to pay attention to both enemy players and the wider battlefield because it means I cannot completely focus on one target. The combination of shooting and abilities also makes movement and timing important rather than reducing everything to basic gunplay. The character system is another nice feature. Different characters have their own identities, and customization lets me change how my character looks. I liked that the game has a colorful comic book presentation because the manga style effects make attacks feel more dramatic. It gives the matches a distinctive look instead of making them resemble another generic arena shooter. The story is surprisingly unusual for a multiplayer game. The characters are creations of a manga artist whose dream world brings them to life, with their battles reflecting the artist's own frustrations and emotions. I would not say the story is the main reason I play, but I liked having that strange idea in the background because it gives the game more personality. My biggest issue is that Madness Arena is clearly still being developed. Some of the planned content, including additional maps, equipment and boss focused features, is not fully established yet. That makes the current experience feel more like a foundation than a finished multiplayer package. The player population can also have a huge effect on how enjoyable the matches are. I also think the game needs more consistency between its different systems. The visual presentation can be flashy and fun, but the actual competitive side can feel rough around the edges. I would like to see more meaningful progression and more map variety so that the matches do not start feeling too similar after repeated sessions. Overall, Madness Arena is a promising free arena shooter with a colorful style and plenty of chaotic potential. I enjoyed the third person combat, character abilities and unusual combination of anime visuals with realistic environments. It still needs a lot more development before I would call it a fully rounded multiplayer game, but the basic idea is enjoyable and there is definitely room for it to become much better.
