MADievals - The rise of Rusty Steelknee

I really want to recommend this little diamond as an adventure which does not take itself too serious. I had quite a laugh through the whole first chapter and looking forward to the second one, to maybe follow the glorious knight to his goal to reach ... money :D

It’s painful to give it a thumbs down because I had fun playing this. But that won't deter me. I've not played the EA version but you can tell when you enter the full release area. Once you reach the Ascension Temple (not all but most) dialogue has no voice acting and has Italian text. You will be able to get the fake golden relic but if you want to go inside the temple though luck! An open window on the back just gives you an endless loading screen and if you open the main gate to go inside Rusty will get stuck on the other door (an endless walking animation). And looking up online I've got no idea if there is an alternative ending or even something extra because the game has almost no online documentation. So yea, a fun small indie Point and Click Adventure that sadly left a sour aftertaste.

This game feels like it has been taken out of the middle of a bigger game. It may be out of early access, but it still feels unfinished. There's a bigger story triggered, but never followed. Spare yourself the money.

In questo gioco si vede tutto l'amore per i videogiochi in genere e per alcuni titoli nello specifico, da parte dello sviluppatore, uno sviluppatore italiano che c'ha messo il cuore e l'anima per confezionare un gioco degno di essere conosciuto come piccola perla indie, sia nei nostri confini che oltre. Si tratta di un gioco che parte prima che tu te ne accorga dai titoli iniziali, infatti, si può interagire fin da subito con alcuni elementi durante la presentazione del cast, sembra di essere dentro un Time Crisis durante questa fase. Poi parte il gioco vero e proprio, un omaggio a The Stanley Parable e Monkey Island, uno per l'interazione del narratore, l'altro per la follia dei dialoghi nella gestione di quella che nella struttura base è un'avventura punta e clicca piena zeppa di gag e citazioni da vari mondi. Ah, ah, ah!!! This game is really funny. I have already half an hour of game and half an hour of fun. If you want to start an enjoyable day just buy this game because you will not regret it.

Rusty merita di essere giocato e apprezzato, per tanti motivi. Prima di tutto ci riporta in maniera più che convincente alle atmosfera Lucas, vi è la stessa scrittura, la stessa visione, la stessa follia, ma, soprattutto, la stessa comicità. MADevals è un titolo per certi aspetti immaturo, incompleto, una introduzione a un progetto più grosso che dipende da come andrà a mercato questo primo capitolo, è fatto con amore per il videogioco, ma soprattutto è frutto di tante ore di sacrificio di un ragazzo italiano che onestamente mi ha saputo sorprendere con un progetto più che convincente. I liked the game very much, But: The game is too short, and i think the most adventure game nowadays is like this: Pay a lot for one short episode. Nope...i won´t buy this game to continue it. Too bad.
