It no longer works, check the forum before any further timewasting. The developer hasn't been active in well over a year and the game no longer will find or create game rooms for players.
Best way to play Texas Holdem. Probably the best way to learn how to play too! Plenty of people playing at ALL hours of the night. I watched two Japanese girls learn the game in 5 minutes! If you're alone you'll play a robot and eventually somebody will join. (its a good way to get more money than everybody else.) If you own a VR headset and like Poker. This is a no brainer. You download it NOW.. I played a poker game in VR a looong time ago on DK2 and it used a controller. I couldn't WAIT to play with motion controls. And here we are. I know those developers were from India and they were great and smart people. If this is them... they have a bright future. I just wanna say my favorite time playing Texas Holdem was on Red Dead Redemption. I was playing in a gazzebo at night in a thunderstorm! I WISH for more atmospheric stuff like that. I think it'd be a good way to generate revenue. Different locations that we can purchase. Let us play on a slab of rock on the edge of a cliff like cavemen for all I care. Anything. Steam workshop would be amazing. Don't get me wrong, this atmosphere is amazing. There's a huge 120" screen that I watch 90% of the time. When it's your turn to play, the camera is ON YOU for everybody to witness. It's like being on camera at a Fox Sports UFC event. (I usually sip my beer and everybody sees it.) It's great fun looking like a MUPPET on the bigscreem. 10/10 man get this ♥♥♥♥, even if you don't know how to play. I think a Chart that shows which hands win would be nice. ALSO you can see "Straight" or whatever you possess right on the table.. I just WISH when someone wins a match it says on the bigscreen whether it was a STRAIGHT or a ROYAL FLUSH. I WANT TO SEE IT!!! (i want that more than new locations.) Because you have to sit there and analyse it wondering how they beat you. Adding more characters would be good. THanks devs. THis could be an amazing $20 game but nobody would be online. People are online all the time. Thank you.

Fantastic game flawed by game breaking bugs. The developers don't really seem to care too much but right now if you want to play with your friends it extremely difficult. Most nights we end up in different tables and can not switch no matter what we try. There is no option to choose the table you play on, or invite a friend to join a table. This is game breaking which is the reason for the negative review. Once this is fixed I will update the review.
For a free VR game this is excellent. Honestly feels like a paid game that is worth the price if there was one. This is definitely one of the best Texas Hold'em Poker games I have ever played. Very immersive and lots of fun. Customize your avatar (Male or Female) in normal or funny attire. Emotes and gestures. Live chat with other players at the table. Mouths move when chatting. Picking up your cards will show your hand LOL so beware, just bend slightly off table to show them only to you. Fairly accurate controls, I say fairly because once or twice it glitched on me but this just got released publicly a few days ago. All your earnings accumulate in your avatar's wallet which can be viewed in your profile. Solid physics. I can definitely seeing this game only getting better with time and even perhaps actual gambling (not sure if steam allows that or will) like with steam cash or w/e. Everything is great about this game except for three things really. 1-You cannot make your own group, invite friends or join different modes (tournament and what not). 2-You can't turn off all of the sound from in-game, Dealer to be exact. 3-You cannot simply exit the game from within the game. Must alt+tab/alt+F4/etc unless I have missed something. Now these are simple little things that don't really dramatically impact the game overall. I was still able to get on a table with one of my friends here on steam. Just have to enter the play area at the same time and if not just switch tables via your holo watch. Overall I give this game top marks and I hope it will improve upon and maybe make even a casino game in this style. This is definitely I would have purchased if it could have been purchased for a reasonable price. Definitely try it, quick download and not much drive space.
Was good at the time, but since Pokerstars VR has taken stage, this game got abandoned, avoid.
On the bright side it's polished : I love it. On the negative side : - The bot is NOT worth playing (it kept going ~all-in or folding all my raises for over an hour until I gave up on playing it). So players don't stay online to play it until a second player appears. - There is no Leaderboard, so no movivation to gather more chips to feature on it. - There are no tournaments, so no reason for the (few) players to come play at the same time. So you end up playing an extremely frustrating bot, and leaving the game before the next player appears. My suggestions : - Add a Leaderboard, to give chips a meaning. - Add a daily tournament, to motivate players to gather at the same time. - Make the bot easier, to encourage players to stay on the table and farm it, until the next player(s) come online. Conclusion : Definitely worth checking out, but only worth playing if you can find some player(s) on it, which you can't.
