Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 5 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Haven't beaten the abyss but i don't think that counts as necessary for beating the game since i got credits already. Yes this one is easier than the first. That also means it's a short experience where you can listen to the banger soundtracks while playing this cute low poly shooter. If you want something as difficult as some of the hardest levels of the first game, the abyss is for you, and there's a lot of it (like 23 levels i believe). Pick this one up for cheap on sale, i promise most will enjoy it, 8/10
Assumes that just because a controller is plugged it, I want to play with a controller. It still allows keyboard and mouse, but all the on-screen menus are designated using controller buttons, so the UI is very hard to navigate. Frankly I've got better things to do than figure this out.
the additional polish comes at the expense of difficulty which is a bit upsetting but i'm glad we got this game anyhow adding an indicator for the apple drops does wonders

Very short. Maybe a couple hours if not going for secrets or 100%. Last world is unplayably hard. Secrets are more tedious than rewarding. Secrets should've just been included in the levels rather than found.
Unfortunately, streets have been saying the lovely planet franchise is a one hit wonder. Way too easy compared to it's predecessor, I just completely blitzed through this one. This is the first game I've played in years that I've thought was too short. And not in a "man I wish there was more" sense, in a "that's it?" sense. They also removed the leaderboard for some reason? This removes any and all motivation to improve your times, even though the game seems to be built around that idea still? There is cool stuff in this though. Soundtrack is still nice and the new jump lends itself much better to performing skips. Massive fan of all the new mechanics introduced. especially when you teleport to the enemies. It's really cool, kinda reminds me of this hidden gem called Neon White.
start with the og Lovely Planet. if you like that, this is more of the same but better. lovely game. challenging, fun, addictive, interesting, and so nicely designed.
