Love of Magic

Only bad thing i can say about this game is the pacing of days and you need to carefully time manage. Visit places at different times often for events to happen. You will have to make choices between training. reading, making money, go hunting and triggering the events at the right times. There is no hand holding and quest markers that shows there is something there!? Sometimes you have no control and you loose an entire day, you wake up an auto event happens, you have a short conversation and it's nighttime!? Have a cup of coffee in the morning and read a book, when your done it's evening, no time to train some before evening. That's the only thing that frustrated me, you cant really build a daily routine for our MC Otherwise this game is great, great character depth, great story, excellent world building, good re-playabillity to get all those events, there are alot.

One of the greatest stories I have read in a long time, read the trilogy from start to end without any breaks just couldn't stop (except for sleep, dinner, and work offcourse) it was that good. Might be an adult book but I have found that the stories here can often be pretty good, and this one was truly great. It is also somewhat inspired by the Persona series in how your character grows by and in planning ones days activities. Even the sex stuff was very well done and beutiful to be honest, very much focus on the romantic, good and wholesome sex. Morning Star and Wings of Empire, is from the same author, they are the next ones on my reading list. Probably the best story since I read Atlas Shrugged.

I bought this game since I really enjoyed this developer's latest game "Wings of Empire"(WoE). I really enjoyed "Love of Magic"(LoM) too . in LoM you play an American grad student accepted to the University of Edinburgh in Scotland to study "Evocation magic". Your character uses a unique framework to pull in power: he visualizes magical combat as a poker game. There is fair amount of spicy content in this part but most of it is with the girlfriend . However you DO end up with a small harem due to a plot device. I started over again after I played about 7 hours and thought I was done and went to Book Two and realized I messed up LOL.. Anyways the ACTUAL time is about 39 hours and I HIGHLY recommend this unique game. On to Book Two

Great story!

This is a fun and super unique AVN. That manages to mess Turn Based RPG and AVN into an amusing combination. Also all the girls are hot and that's always a winner.
