Love is...

Love is... quite boring, apparently.

Je n'ai pas vraiment aimé ce jeu, les dessins et les cinématiques de Puuung sont vraiment jolies et l'histoire racontée est mignonne. Cependant, l'aspect jeu n'est vraiment pas fou, le gameplay consiste à trouver des objets cachés dans une image pour en révéler la couleur, j'apprécie habituellement les jeux de ce style, là n'est pas le problème. Les objets qu'on cherche nous sont présentés en bas de l'image, mais bien souvent ne correspondent pas à ce que l'on voit sur l'image ce qui m'a causé pas mal de confusion, c'est plutôt frustrant. Puis à titre personnel, le style artistique de Puuung ne se prête pas vraiment à ce genre de jeux, l'aspect crayonné brouille la perception des objets à trouver de façon injuste. Bref, je pense que l'histoire aurait été mieux racontée à travers un webcomic ou autre médium dans le genre et aurait mieux valu les 10 €.

A simple hidden object game about romantic love. It is jarring that different artists are used, so the characters and environments can look different between vignettes. The story is cozy. The music is relaxing. Overall I rate it "OK".

I feel a bit bad giving this a negative review, but it really wasn't for me. The art is extremely endearing. The illustrated stages are beautiful. The way colours spread as you find objects is great. The animated scenes are technically very well done. All that said, it's barely a hidden object game. If you're anything like me, you'll spend less than a minute mindlessly breezing through each stage - a sad thing, given how nicely drawn they are - and then much, MUCH longer watching long-winded, repetitive scenes of a cute, but increasingly bland love story between two barely-characters. The one time it worked for me was one night when I was deep in insomnia, had already taken my multiple prescription sleep meds, but my brain wouldn't shut off so I was playing this in a zombie-like state. I don't necessarily regret including it in a game bundle, but I would absolutely have refunded it if I bought it individually, and I don't see myself ever coming back to finish it.

He visto videos de música o de motivación para parejas o para parejas con estos muñequitos y por eso me compré el jueguito porque siempre me han parecido super lindos. Estoy jugando su "historia de amor" y es hermosa, te van mostrando el paso a paso de como comienza una relación y como se va desarrollando en el día a día. El juego es un point and click donde tienes que buscar letras, corazones u objetos mientras se va coloreando el dibujo.. es relajante, tiene bonita musica y cada nivel tiene entre 11 a 10 puzzles. Es hermoso y te da la añoranza de esos momentos vividos en pareja. Lo recomiendo si te quieres relajar mientras ves Netflix 🥰

It is a really cute, simple game. I wasn't too familiar with the artist and their work, but I quickly grew to love the characters and their story. I did the first few chapters by myself, but it quickly became a nightly little wind-down activity with my kids to find the hidden hearts, numbers, and shapes. For such a cozy game, things quickly got competitive between them, haha! Note: The story/cutscenes will NOT be for everybody, I can tell that right away. And the hidden objects can feel really jarring and unnatural for each scene. However, if you just want something light or have a youth to play it alongside, it's a fun little game to spend time with.
