This game is not what it seems. This was easily the strangest fever dream-esque piece of media I've ever seen (in the best way). Although advertised as primarily a platformer, it is a psychological horror narrative first and a platformer second. The platforming is great, but it is the weakest part of the game. Although the physics feel fluid, some levels feel unnecessarily difficult at times and the difference between flipping way too early and flying 100 miles per hour towards a spike can feel basically random. There were times when I wanted to get done with the platforming levels to move on to the next chunk of story (I say this as a huge Celeste fan). But the drug induced story of trying to escape a deranged, socially-inept, and lonely Goddess combined with the absolutely stunning visuals made this one of the most interesting games I've ever played. The ending left me seriously processing everything that just happened, and I'm still thinking about this game days later. I highly, highly recommend it.
I loved this game. great gameplay, unsettling atmosphere, good storytelling, AND it kept me guessing throughout the latter half. I would definitely recommend, especially if you enjoy Celeste or VVVVVV
What a wonderful experience. Great Fluid movement, Really interesting design choices that keep evolving throughout the games runtime. All in all a really tight experience that knows what it wants to be.
I honestly think it would be better to watch a playthrough of the game on youtube rather than playing this yourself. The story is definitely amazing, and well presented, but the platforming elements of the game are extremely frustrating, and in my opinion, kind of awkward. Despite being beating the game, I can't say I ever really felt comfortable with the main platforming mechanic of the game, where you can flip gravity. A lot of sections of the game require extremely precision usage of this ability to "fall" in a controlled way through various spikes and whatnot. However the momentum your character gains when falling seems like it increases at an exponential rate, where maybe three frames are the different between getting through an area or smacking into a wall. I want to say about 1.5 / 2 hours of my playtime were literally spend retrying one level. There aren't really any new gimmicks introduced to the platforming while playing, just increasingly precise and technical challenges. I'm not sure if the challenge of the game really added anything at all for me, if anything it made me dread when the story sections were over since I had to get back to playing the game. I definitely can't see myself recommending the game for the gameplay at all. The story to the game is probably 30 minutes to maybe an hour tops of the game, but the sheer barrier of entry due to the platforming makes it a hard recommend on that side. Really unsure what kind of person I'd recommend actually playing this game to.
Developed like a dark, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up version of Celeste haha. Just a glimpse into my dark reality. A full stare into my twisted perspective would make most simply go insane lmao

Great game but very odd I am not much of a platformer, I havent finished hollow knight or even celeste so i did struggle at some parts but overall took me about 5 hours, it's quite simple once you get used to it Fantastic graphics and some really good scare moments, love the audio too Really enjoyed the meta-ness of it all but I feel like I was missing something almost. Still super interesting, but I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Probably going to look at some other reviews now
норм, но мало прыжков и много "сюжета"
one of the most unique experiences I have ever had playing a video game. PLEASE play this game.
Really cool game! I don't know what any of it means!
