Lost Letter

Set off on a global, idle-style search to find the letter’s recipient by visiting countries, upgrading means of travel, collecting stamps, and narrowing down clues. At the start of the game, you’re introduced to a simple premise: you're a nameless person drifting through life without any real purpose, until one day you discover a bottle washed ashore. Inside is a mysterious letter addressed to someone unknown. With nothing better to do, you decide to dedicate your life to tracking down the person this letter was meant for. But the task is no small feat because search will take you across the entire world. Despite the grand scale of your quest, the gameplay is surprisingly relaxed, falling into the “idle” genre. This means you won't need to constantly interact or manage complex mechanics. Everything unfolds on a single screen, where a handful of items are available to help you on your journey. The centerpiece is a world map featuring various countries marked across it. Clicking on a marker allows you to travel to that country, but there’s a twist: you can only move between countries if there's an invisible travel route connecting them. Even if two countries are geographically close, you might not be able to move between them unless you've unlocked the necessary paths through progression. The primary objective is to travel to each country and search through its population in hopes of finding the one individual the letter was meant for. Your progress in each country is displayed as a percentage next to its population. Since many countries have millions of residents, completing the task by hand would take a lifetime. Fortunately, the game automates this process. You earn money each time you find the wrong person, and this money is used to purchase upgrades that speed up your searching. You begin your journey on foot, but as you earn more, you can upgrade to faster travel methods like skateboards, bicycles, cars, and eventually airplanes. Each upgrade increases your search speed significantly but also becomes more expensive over time. There’s a cap on how many times each mode of transportation can be upgraded. Reaching the airplane unlocks new travel possibilities, particularly overseas destinations that aren’t accessible by land. But the game has built-in limitations to prevent it from becoming too easy. Once you’ve finished searching an entire country, you stop earning income there. To make things more challenging, all upgrades, except for walking, reset when you move to a new country. Moreover, your travel method influences the cost of moving to another country. If you’ve unlocked the airplane, for example, travel becomes expensive. The only way to travel for free is by walking, which slows your progress considerably. Thankfully, there’s an alternative way to earn money: your phone. In-game, the phone displays a couple of images from your current country and includes a heart icon you can tap for extra cash. This mechanic can also be upgraded, allowing you to earn more money per tap. Best of all, this upgrade is permanent and doesn’t reset when you travel. If you take the time to upgrade it, you won’t have to worry about money and progress in smaller countries, which can be searched within several minutes. In addition to the main gameplay loop, there’s a side activity centered around stamp collecting. As you search through countries, you’ll regularly discover stamps that are automatically added to your collection. However, the stamp system is quite barebones. It’s essentially a long, scrollable list with no filters by country and no informational value attached to each stamp, which are purely visual collectibles. Some stamps are categorized as secret and can only be obtained through a reconstruction mini-game. This puzzle challenges you to assemble a stamp from multiple pieces. You must start with a highlighted central piece and then correctly match surrounding pieces to complete the stamp. Most combinations won’t work so there’s some effort included. Finally, it’s worth noting that you don’t have to visit every country to complete the game. By purchasing hints through your phone, you can eventually narrow your search to a single country. Once you locate the intended recipient of the letter, the game concludes. You’re then free to begin a new playthrough, although your stamp collection carries over into future runs.

O jogo é uma farofa de muitas cores e estampas, parece inteiro uma colagem, mas da pra perceber o cuidado que tiveram na curadoria dos selos, cada um com sua particularidade. Eu pessoalmente gosto muito de colecionar tranqueiras, e esse jogo me fez querer colecionar mais outra modalidade de tranqueira kk Ele não é perfeito, tem seus probleminhas, tipo alguns bugs quando se joga uma partida por tempo demais e coleciona uma quantidade absurda de selos (dá um bug muito engraçado de selos ENORMES), eu adoraria que tivessem mais puzzles pra montar selos e que tivesse alguma mudança no mini game de entregar cartas (ele se torna repetitivo e muito difícil de separar selos por tipo depois de um tempo, você simplesmente desiste de bater a meta de cada carta e simplesmente só joga tudo na carta e espera bater a pontuação). Considerações finais: ótimo passa tempo, mas enjoa se jogar muitas horas seguidas

Muito divertido!! O jogo tem um progresso lento, mas nunca te deixa entediado, por causa da variedade de mecânicas, inclusive muito fofo o jogo do gatinho :D sem dúvida uma joia rara encontrada por acaso na steam. Recomendo!!!

Foi uma experiência magnifica! O jogo propõe um desafio: encontrar alguém no mundo. E vc ganha: Uma perspectiva nova sobre o mundo, conexões, tempo, distâncias e a valorização daqueles que tem valor para sua vida. Lindo, divertido e desafiador. Te faz pensar sobre as características de cada país para q vc tenha um norte, te mostrar através dos selos características únicas de cada lugar, com suas diferentes culturas, tradições e conceitos de arte. Eu adorei!

Jogo incrível! Você começa o jogo pra se distrair e quando vê já passou horas colecionando selos e se emocionando com as histórias A trilha sonora é bem envolvente e te passa uma sensação de calma que ajuda a se divertir enquanto procura o destinatário da carta A progressão do jogo começa devagar mas vai aumentando conforme você vai jogando, recomendo!

O jogo é muito divertido! Gostei bastante do fato de ser possível rejogar várias vezes, e sempre dar um resultado diferente, principalmente no Modo Desafio (minha moto quebrou tantas vezes que a partir de hoje só ando de carro). A trilha sonora é muito aconchegante, o visual todo é bem cozy e bonitinho, e o tamagotchi no cantinho me conquistou demais! <3 É um jogo clicker que não toma tanto tempo pra finalizar uma run, perfeito pra jogar uma partidinha entre um compromisso e outro, e distrair um pouco a cabeça aproveitando o clima que ele traz, além de ser uma mini-coletânea de puzzles pra você fazer ao mesmo tempo (se quiser!). A mecânica de montar os selos também me trouxe uma nostalgia bem legal! E a historia concisa e profunda no final de cada partida me pegou desprevenido. Gostei demais <3
