On the surface this is a very fun game. I did have a lot of fun the first few hours. But... The progress is glacially slow, which makes the game feel quite samey after only 8 hours. Your card deck is not an actual deck, just the RNG percentages to draw any given card. Far too many times now I've drawn e.g. nothing but healing potions, or vice versa. I want to like the game, but ultimately the cons are too great.
It's a good game with good art, cards, equipment/defence systems, but the slow and very unforgiving combat draws me away from it.

LiTD is a good twist on a box standard deck builder game. Game manages to combine frustratingly unfair RNG with a brutally unforgiving effects/damage system. Every run from the 10th to the 1000th is boiled down into a nail biting, blood tears crying CRAWL, as you desperately try to maintain constantly draining health, stunt growing status effects, and get your loot to get back out. The game combines an unfair combat system, low risk loses, good art, and the slimmest bones of a story creates a fun 1-2 session experience for people who like being abused.
I enjoyed this game when I got to play it. But for some reason it now refuses to launch. And I am stuck on a infinite loading screen
Lost in the Dungeon feels like a fun idea that is almost finished. I enjoyed myself about 70%. The game is in desperate need of a balance pass, and I agree with some of the other reviews that it never truly feels like it received the right Q&A. Although I did love the difficulty grading, I discovered that I encountered unbeatable enemy combinations far too frequently. Only roughly half of the cards and items were ever truly practical due to either too greater resource costs, too low damage quantities, or strange stat combinations. The cards and items are a good illustration of where testing and revision might have enhanced the game. It seemed like a missed opportunity. I understand the developers' intention to offer build diversity, but the majority of the time there is only one obvious option for each class due to poor decisions or a lack of revision on so many items and cards. The AI felt fun and challenging most of the time, and the enemies were generally entertaining. My impression is that, with the exception of the 100 deaths, all the achievements were well-paced and worthwhile after completing 100% of them. However, that one was tedious and poorly executed, as it still had me mindlessly murdering myself hours after the campaign was over. Which was not at all enjoyable! I can only suggest this game when it was on sale since, sadly, it appears as if it will never receive the improvements and additions that would transform it into a polished and enjoyable experience.
Omg, it's a very incredible card game!!! <3 <3 Best card game ever!
Brutal! But very rewarding!
