Loot City

[h1]Spielbewertung von TrophyHunter[/h1] Dieses Spiel habe ich mir erst Gestern gekauft, da es für 49 Cent im Angebot war. Der Trailer sah ganz interessant aus, jedoch wirkte er gleichzeitig etwas schäbig, weshalb ich sehr gespannt war, wie für mich, im Spieltest, das Game endgültig rüber kommt. Dementsprechend kommen wir nun zur Bewertung. Das Spiel "Loot City" wurde vom Entwicklerstudio "NullReferenceException" entwickelt und ist ein kleines Gelegenheitsspiel, bei dem man mit einem Auto Geldsäcke und Schlüssel einsammeln muss, während man von Polizeieinheiten verfolgt wird. Die Geschichte, welche man vorgelegt bekommt, ist ziemlich außergewöhnlich und macht teilweise wirklich keinen Sinn. Naja, immerhin gibt es überhaupt eine Story. Das Gameplay besteht hauptsächlich darin, wie bereits erwähnt, eine gewisse Summe an Geld sowie Schlüssel einzusammeln, ohne dabei verhaftet oder zerstört zu werden. Dabei liegen die Schlüssel relativ versteckt abseits der Straßen und werden nur mit einem Marker versehen, sobald man weniger als 100 Meter zum Schlüssel entfernt ist. Ebenso gibt es für alle Werte des Fahrzeugs (Benzin, Leben, Nitro, Sprungkraft), jeweilige Powerups zum auffüllen dieser. Nebenbei hat man die Möglichkeit, je nach dem mit welchem der 3 Charaktere man startet, noch eine Waffe mitzuführen, um sich gegen die Einheiten der Polizei verteidigen zu können. Die Steuerung des Fahrzeugs ist..., ich nenne es mal gewöhnungsbedürftig, da das Fahrzeug sehr schnell dazu neigt in kurven sich zu überschlagen. Ich gehe aber mal davon aus, dass die Steuerung für einen Kontroller optimiert wurde. Grafisch lässt das Spiel auch, durch die unproportionalen Objekte sowie den einfach gehaltenen Texturen, sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Sounds des Games sind auch eher mäßig ertragbar. Was wiederum sehr schön ist, ist die Tatsache, dass das Spiel 42 Errungenschaften integriert hat und mit einem Schnäppchenpreis von 99 Cent standardmäßig her kommt. Der Preis ist trotz der Mängel, zu mindest in meinen Augen, durchaus für ein derartiges Spiel gerechtfertigt. Ich persönlich sehe zwar in dem Spiel Potenzial, jedoch denke ich nicht, dass hier noch etwas am Spiel geändert wird, da der letzte Patch im September 2021 war. Ich werde dennoch das Game positiv bewerten, einfach aus dem Grund, dass es mich als Spieler für ein paar Stunden unterhalten, man relativ schnell die Errungenschaften farmen kann sowie einen durchaus akzeptablen Preis hat. Glaubt mir, ich habe schon viel schlechteres für das Geld gesehen. Macht euch einfach ein eigenes Bild davon. Loot city is a very relaxed and enjoyable game, it takes a little bit to get used too the controls but after that its great. the game also doesn't just fly by, you have to explore the whole map collecting cash and keys to complete your objective. shooting tanks, cops and armoured trucks while collecting cash was more enjoyable then i thought and i felt accomplished after putting the work into beating the game. overall, i had a great time playing Loot city and it was fun to play around with all the different characters.

Arcade driving game where you go around the city during a nuclear disaster and collect all the abandoned loot before the cops can catch you. In addition, you'll need to collect fuel, repairs, nitro, etc to keep moving. Three different characters/cars with different weapons and car stats. Each character has a voiced backstory which is dedication to the production. Unfortunately, the game is done in by floaty controls and it's frustratingly difficult to go where you actually wanted to go. With tighter controls, this could be a fun way to spend some time but, as is, it's good for a few minutes before you get tired of sliding around the streets and move along to something else.

It feels like a cheesy GTA clone or at least in the same genre. I kinda enjoy it but not tons, it's worth a little bit of $ but not tons. It's interesting enough to buy and check out if you're bored of the GTA games.

This is one of the worst games I've ever played; the playable characters' plots were interesting but if I wanted to play sandbox game with cars that maneuver THAT BADLY I'd play Garry's Mod instead. |:(
